We were looking to purchase a new home that had no obvious signs of structural issues. But with the referral of trusted contractor and friend (expansive soils are a big problem in Fort Collins), we asked Jason Baker to do an engineering inspection just for peace of mind.

He has extensive knowledge of the soils in our area and readily conveys that knowledge throughout his inspection. Turns out the home was structurally sound, as expected. But Jason still pointed out some minor issues with the basement and grading that need to be addressed in order to protect one of our family's largest investments.

Jason is easy to relate to and the information he provided was well worth the few hundred dollars we paid for it. In fact, the information was more useful than the report we received from our regular home inspector which costs us roughly twice as much. I highly recommend Jason and his team.

Jason came to my home today to do a structural inspection. He tore down plastic sheeting in spots and apparently does not have tools in his line of work to put anything like that back together. Also left our basement door wide open when it is always closed and locked (as it was when I left the home this morning.) completely unprofessional.
