This company does quality work however our project, a new 2-story ADU, is still not completed despite a contract that states it would take 6 months to complete. We are now in month 11 (project started inJanuary) and there is still scaffolding up, a large open trench and pile of dirt in my front lawn, and a large amount of work to be done. There have been some shipping delays and other material delays which I understand and expected, however communication is terrible and we’ve been delayed weeks and weeks with no updates, or given promises that don’t come through. We feel taken advantage of and are counting the days until the project can actually be finished. Repeated requests for an updated timeline have been ignored. Beware of this company, they are very communicative up front in order to get payment, but pretty much only contact you on their terms after that. Originally I would have recommended them, but not anymore.

Working with ADVANCED BUILDING AND REMODELING was a very pleasant experience. We remodeled or kitchen, laundry room, bathrooms and painted the complete interior and exterior of our house. We have recently moved in to the house and since the house we old we needed to get couple of things done. We had a budget but most importantly we want a quality work to be done to the house thinking we are looking for a long term solution. Adavnced Building had many good recommendations and many years of experience in the business as well as one of our friends did garage conversation five years ago using them as their contractor. He was very happy and highly recommended the company so even though we want to take more estimates which we did we knew they are the top priority. We finished all the remodeing and we are happy with the results. Thanks

What an amazing company to work with! My husband and I wanted to remodel our kitchen and create an open floor plan. The whole Advanced Building team was very responsive and helpful when giving advice for the new layout. I wanted a special type of marble sourced, while it did take awhile to ship… the counter tops couldn’t look any better. THANK YOU! I am pleased with the work and love their full-coverage warranty.

I hired AdvBuild to perform a remodel and a 600 sqft addition in Laguna Beach. Customer was extremely happy and hired us again to build a 700 sqft ADU at their private home N. Tustin. They were a pleasure to work with and we look forward to working with them again soon.

We started our new home build with Advanced Building and Remodeling during the later part of 2020. A good portion of the build occurred in 2020-2021, during the initial and most uncertain time of the COVID-19 pandemic. During such unprecedented times I was concerned things wouldn’t progress as planned. Somehow, we were able to stay on track with our timeline thanks to John, his team, and subcontract team that was still willing to work. Dealing with John, his subcontractors, and his preferred vendors was overall easy and pleasant. The quality and timeliness of the work produced were precisely why we chose a custom builder. They made our dream home a reality! After being in our home for over 1.5 years now it’s reassuring to know it has held up to the seasonal temperature and weather changes, despite some being quite extreme. I would HIGHLY recommend Advanced Building and Remodeling to anyone able and willing to embark upon the journey of building their dream home. They won’t be disappointed.
