I've been seeing Dr Smith since 2016 he did a fusion in my back from my L2 to the SI he actually needed to go higher but he did not because he said that it would not give me value of life that I would walk very stiff if he went higher in my back I do appreciate that he cared about the quality of life that I would have I understand that sometimes staff can be a little bit rude but that doesn't reflect on the doctor and so I'm sorry for my previous post I was just upset that I couldn't even speak to him because of doctor Smith has reached out to me himself three times since then and I truly appreciate that we are working out my care going forward Dr Smith is the utmost quality neurosurgeon and he probably saved me from being in a wheelchair the nerve pain was so horrible my ankles twist in ungodly ways my toes would stay separated with nerve stuck it was horrible so I just want him to know I appreciate him what he has done for me and this is why I trust him going forward thank you Dr Smith

I saw Dr. Smith recently and was very pleased with his level of communication, the time he took to explain his medical opinion, and the alternative options he suggested to help relieve my pain. I appreciate the fact that he did not want to jump to surgery and leave me the same or worse than I am now. Thank you, Dr. Smith, for your kindness, compassion, and the time you took with me to explain my condition and what treatment options may be helpful.

Dr. Smith on 9-7-22 performed a very successful brain tumor resection surgery for what ended up being a grade 4 glioblastoma tumor which I am now under treatment for. Every subsequent doctor who has reviewed the post surgery MRI is very impressed with the extent of the removal and my treatments are progressing positively. In our several post treatment appointments, Dr. Smith has been very positive, informative and supportive, giving me confidence in my outcomes moving forward with this very serious form of cancer. His support has been much appreciated.

I have had a wonderful experience with Dr. Adam Smith. I was brought in to the emergency room at Lutheran Hospital on 6/9/2023 by the Arvada Fire Department following a seizure in my home. Dr. Smith was on call that evening and after assessing my MRI he ordered surgery for Monday, 6/12. I had a meningioma tumor in the front left lobe of my brain which was unknown to me or any of my physicia ns at the time. He performed surgery on Monday 6/12 which took several hours and communicated the outcome with my friends and me. He clearly communicated to all of us and was very optimistic in his views. I consider him to be a miracle worker and have returned to my normal life in just four months. There is no sign of recurrence in my latest brain MRI which was performed on 10/4/2023. I will be following up in a year with a repeat MRI and seeing a neurologist for any additional medical interventions required. I personally thank Dr. Smith and his team for saving my life and returning me to the quality of life I once had.

I was in a pretty traumatic auto accident and had to have serious back surgery. Dr. Smith has been very upfront with me about the recommendations, risks and realities throughout this whole process. I have asked MANY questions and he’s always been receptive to helping alleviate my hesitations and concerns. While I’d love to be told that things will be sunshine and rainbows, I appreciate his honesty every step of the way. We trust him and his work, would recommend to anyone in the Denver area if such an unfortunate circumstance were to arise.

Dr. Adam Smith removed my brain tumor completely. I can't thank him and his team enough. While I don't remember most of my time in the hospital, his team did update my husband every hour during my surgery, which I was told was 15 hours. That is what caring looks like to me. During my follow up appointment he took to time to answer all of my questions and explain where the tumor started growing and everything he knew about it. Thank you!

My daughter had to have a shwanoma tumor removed from her brain about a year and a half ago. We knew some of the risk like hearing loss was possible. He left part of the tumor in her ear as he thought maybe leaving that might help her to not lose her hearing completely but still a chance she would lose it completely. So we opted to keep it there. He told after surgery that the facial drooping and paralysis would get better just give it a year. This is not the case even after much therapy. She had so many bad problems with her eye because she couldn't close it all the way, couldn't see hardly and it got real infected. She has the same issues after surgery with her body just like before the surgery still to this day. It's like nothing has changed and just made her worse and permanently disfigured. She made numerous attempts to talk to Dr Smith but only got an assistant to talk. She tried many times wanting to talk to him personally but he has never responded to her questions or concerns. 2nd opinions have now shown he cut other nerves he shouldn't have. Do not think he is a good surgeon and he doesn't care about the clients well being. I am so sad to have to see my daughter in such pain still and her crying because of what he did to her!!

Dr Smith discovered and performed surgery for a brain aneurysm on me in 2012. He was wonderful through the whole process. I had seen others for a problem with my neck. He asked for an mri from the top of my head including my neck thus the finding and the surgery. I couldn’t be happier with him as a professional and as a person. He was kind and attentive always,
