Outstanding quality ; strong, thick fencing installed with 3 gates that are secure and wind resistant. Replaced a fence from a big box home improvement store and wow, the A-1 fence has got to be at least 5 times stronger than the previous fence.

I do not recommend this company. When we moved into our house we had a fence already installed by them but recently it was damaged and needed to be replaced. I contacted the company and left a voicemail and between two days I had called the company literally 10 times playing phone tag with them. I emailed and told them to either email or text me because I was at work. They proceeded to call me to tell me they got my email when I said to contact me by other methods. Someone finally texted me on Wednesday and we set up a time on Thursday for someone to come out the following week. On that day, no one showed up or let me know they couldn’t make it. So unprofessional. We are using someone else. Don’t waste your time with this company, you’ll be waiting forever.

Quality
Pro:The wood will last my lifetime. Certainly not what you get at a box store. Pro: the installers were friendly and very and professional. Pro: they were able to install relatively quickly. Pro: gates are beautiful and distinctive and included high quality hardware.
Con: I paid for the quality. If that’s a con but it was expensive. You can blame it on supply chain.
We all know quality comes at a premium.

A-1 was fantastic. We contacted them in December after our old fence was destroyed, and they said they could begin in April. I called April 1st to see when they thought they could begin, and they said mid-late April. As soon as they were ready for us they were in constant communication, including over the weekend, to let us know exactly when their crew would be there. They showed up on a very rainy and a little bit snowy Monday with a large team and got the job done promptly. We are extremely satisfied with their work, and will gladly have them back.

Not cool to waste people’s time. I’ve had trouble getting fencing companies to call me in general. A-1 finally called me back after leaving several voicemails and came out to take measurements. Initially said he would give me a quote after he was done measuring, then changed it to he would email me in a few days. Never heard another word. I’ve called & emailed….crickets. Super unprofessional so I wouldn’t use them even if they did get back to me at this point.

I had tried to work with A1 recently. One of the owners came to our home to estimate the project. He walked the property, took measurements, and talked possibilities. He never responded with a quote. I called afterwards several times and left multiple messages to get any further information, but received no answer or return call. I understand contractors are busy right now, but the least A1 could do is confirm whether or not they are willing to take on the project. They may do great work, but there is a lack of professionalism. I can see from the reviews below, and the owner's dubious responses, that this is a common issue with them.

Exceptional service, product and workmanship from start to finish. Brent was professional and responsive in bidding job and follow up. and Dave (the owner) checked in every day. Installers were professional, courteous and very hardworking. Highly recommend!!
