We were very impressed with the guys with A& H concrete.
Very professional, extremely quick and far above average cleanliness.
The first day they formed everything in and when they left for the day the area was left cleaner than when they got here. The next day they showed up to finish the small area left with rebar and informed me the pour was going to happen that morning.
Way ahead of schedule which was awesome, all around extremely impressed and would highly recommend.

We hired A&H for a walkway on the side of our home, a patio in our backyard, and a two level retaining wall with a side staircase. Nothing was done professionally.

The morning after they poured, as they removed their molds, one of their people used a wheel barrow full of rocks on the brushed concrete, leaving wheel marks from turning the wheel barrel and marks dragging things across the walkway and patio. We were lied to and told it wouldn't be visible after the concrete dried. One month later, they implied WE did it by watering the concrete -- which we weren't instructed to do until the day AFTER they removed the molds (2 days after pouring).

Here are the things I didn't complain to them about:

-The drainage they provided for the patio and retaining walls was done incorrectly and cost me thousands to have done properly by my landscaper.

-They failed to dig out the staircase and after 4 no-shows, they finally patched it 3 weeks later, which looks terrible.

-We were told we would have 1 foot footings on the retaining walls, and they are 6 inches or less.

-They splattered concrete all along the side of my home and on the vinyl sliding door and left it there.

-They broke a piece of stucco off the house when they removed the existing 3x3 pad.

-They put duplex nails in my fence to hang sweat shirts and tool belts and left them there.

-They put chalk lines on a new cedar fence (which won't come off).

-They left soda cans and water bottles all throughout the yard, on the fence, and on an electrical panel.

- Walking across the 15x45 patio feels like I'm walking on a boat, it has so many waves in it.

I let this entire list go without argument, but I won't be lied to.

The owner got upset when I called out his lie about marks his employees put in the concrete. He said he didn't want to "keep coming back". If I had my way, they would have done the job right the first time and I wouldn't have seen them again unless I needed more work done. He left without a commitment to fixing the damage his employee did to the concrete. Unfortunately, the cost to litigate the issue was more than having the work redone by someone else, which my real estate attorney told me is why companies like this don't care if they screw up a job.

If I had to describe A&H Concrete in one word, it would be "incompetent".

They did a 20x30 cement pad at a great price. They had a lot of work removing a stump and dirt and rock. I was so happy with their service I barbecued for them on the last day.

I had a driveway and side walk replaced last month and these guys did a great job. It started with the estimator he worked with me to meet my budget and was cordial and professional. The owner worked with the crew and all of them were awesome. I would use them again
