Joe was great. Punctual, professional, returned calls in a timely manner (sometimes within minutes), completed work as promised, great communication and explained everything. He returned immediately when something wasn't quite right and fixed it. We highly recommend Joe and A Fresh New Look.

Top notch company. Went above and beyond for my mother and me. I have been so pleased with every aspect of my interaction with the people of A Fresh New Look. They showed true kindness, quality, and professionalism - even when the situation became a bit more than initially expected. They work together, with you and each other(always knowing exactly what's going on at the job) and are very competent. I would highly recommend A Fresh New Look to anyone!

If you are looking for a contractor to provide terrible unfinished work, look no further. If you call them with work quality concerns, Mary Jo (the owner) will refuse to do a walk through to see the work for herself, she will accuse you of sabotaging the work so you don't have to pay and threaten to sue for full payment without fixing the issues. She also believes that poor work should be acceptable because, I quote "it's just a rental property". The contractor capped a drain pipe with a Tide laundry cap he found in my basement and sprayed everything with Quick Seal to finish it off. But Mary Jo said I'm unreasonable and impossible to please.
We settled on a 30% discount (not even close to enough) and I had to hire someone else to correct/finish the work. I have pictures, text message and emails to support my review.
Response to owner: I had to demand a walk through with you multiple times before you would schedule it. You were very rude and combative every time I tried to have a rational discussion with you about the work. I have had no contact with the contractor after he left the job and I reached out to him to settle on a final payment, which is when you magically decided to meet with me to settle so you could have the money insteadof him. Now some kid is threatening me on Facebook. Very classy.

Unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The initial visit on 2/29/2024 was fine but after a few weeks, the handyman never got back to me. I contacted the office on 3/14/2024 and they said they would follow up with him. They also said they assigned a different electrician to work on my project. I reminded them on 3/15/2024 that I was also interested in having the electrician install outside light poles and a few other things. While the company's emails were encouraging and personable, they fell short on the delivery. I have not heard from them since.

First and foremost, I cannot believe the response my wife received from an honest review. We searched for a contractor with good reviews and THOUGHT WE HAD found one. We ended up with horrible work and were met with an owner that told us we didnt know what we were doing. We have plenty of experience and understanding of a complete construction process and its application so a little remodel we though we would take a break and let a "PROFESSIONAL" handle it for once. Needless to say it was a horrible decision to choose A fresh look handyman. We were ultimately told we needed to accept sub par quality because "it's just a rental". I do not believe a spray painted tide cap for an end cap on plumbing or tile that was over ahalf an inch off from one side to another that leaned away from the wall over an 8th of an inch should ever be considered as quality work. Please stay away from this company. I have posted a screenshot of the absolutely disgusting response from someone affiliated with this company as yet more proof of how you will be treated as a customer.

The reply from the owner is completely delusional and lies ... The original schedule was for a week it took over month that we could not rent the unit. We gave the contractor numerous attempts to correct work that was obviously beyond the scope of their ability and in the end said he was just done.... Honestly who in the hell would say to use a tide laundry detergent cap to finish a plumbing project INVESTMENT PROPERTY. Our honest review is just that. As far as slander and hate speech try to prevent your people from harassing and stalking people for leaving a review of your buisness. You're taking the word of a contractor that you've fired for their performance, great customer.

Made an appointment, and got an email confirmation that an estimator would meet me May 2 at 3:30pm (give or take an hour). So I left work early and waited around for a few hours and no one showed up. Not even a call that they were running late or needed to reschedule. I called the next day and told them this, and she asked if I'd like to re-schedule. I said yes - so she put me on hold. I waited 4-5 minutes then hung up because I had another call. I figured they had my info and they'd call me back. Today is June 3, and never heard from them.

From the outset, I was impressed. Received an email from Christine shortly after I contacted A Fresh Look. Our first few contacts were via email, even though the phone number was on the email. I finally did call and Christine answered the phone. We got an appointment for Will to come and give us an estimate for installing 2 ceiling fans. We got an estimate from Will and when he came back to install he went straight to work. He was professional and friendly. He encountered a couple of problems but always had another idea. Within about 3.5 hours he had both installed. He cleaned up the mess (which was minimal). Our neighbor has also used Will since our install and was very happy. I would DEFINITELY recommend A Fresh Look for any electrical projects that you need done around the house. I am sure that they have other electrical people, but I know that for our next project, we will want to have Will come back. In conclusion, nice people to work with from Christine to Will. Both professional, courteous and friendly. A definite positive recommendation.
