We interviewed several contractors regarding fixing/repairing the egress surround, window, small crack repair on the front of the house, concrete slab removal, installing a sump pump and drain tile. This was a very large project and a few contractors didn’t want to touch the project or the suggestions for repair weren’t sound. There were a few companies that made us feel like we were being sold a product and not a solution. After talking to a co-worker we decided on A+ Environmental. We couldn’t be happier with our decision.

On May 29th 2018 they began work on our basement. The workers were very professional, answered all our concerns, and completed the project within about 3 days! The team even helped by coming up with a way to put up plastic to block the dust from coming up from our open stairwell. This was a concern, since we have kids. It is a relief to no longer be running down to the basement every time we hear that it’s raining. This has been a very wet summer/fall so far, but we haven’t had any water in the basement. In fact, once the egress was fixed and the concrete slab was removed the newly installed sump pump hasn’t even turned on. It is good peace of mind to know that there is a sump pump if we need it.

We have been recommending A+ Environmental to others we know that have had foundation and basement water issues.

In the summer of 2019 we hired A+ Environmental to help us with our basement. Our house is about 120 years old, the concrete porch in the back is in poor shape, and while we’re not in a floodplain the water table in our location is high. When these factors are added together it can make for a muddy mess in the basement if we get enough rain.

A+ Environmental installed a sump system and drain tiling and did some repair work on the basement walls as well. The guys doing the work were fast, polite and friendly and they really did a great job.

A few weeks after they finished we had a bad rain storm, the kind that would leave a lot of mud in the basement before they did the work. During this storm I found a very small trickle of water coming from an unexpected place under the stairs so I called them up. They came right away and took care of the issue and our basement has been dry and pleasant ever since.

You never know how good a business is until you call them for warranty work and in our case I’d have to say that A+ Environmental is outstanding. I’d recommend them to anyone without hesitation and we’re very happy that we hired them to fix our basement.

I spent the past 9 months rehabbing a home in Watertown that the maintenance had been neglected for several years and the basement was in tough shape. Mike came within days of my inquiry and spent as much time as necessary to evaluate and explain what he recommended to be done to repair the cracked walls and stop the leaking into the basement.

The prices he quoted me were well below his competitors to solve my problem. Additionally, his crew came on time, as promised, and worked steadily until the job was completed. They were hard working, told me what they were going to be doing, and completed the work and left the home with no trace they had been there except for my repaired basement.

I had to replace some basement windows in my pre-1900s home. Ethan came out gave me a great quote on four glass block windows, even accommodated my dryer vent in one. On installation day the had all four installed and everything swept and cleaned in less time than I anticipated. The windows look great' really nice with the house; much better than the cracked peeling heat leakers that were there previously.
