I know that a one star review may seem a little harsh but this company has done nothing as promised. I hired Murphy Brothers Construction to build a small lake. I hired them because I could not find anyone local that I felt could do the job properly. Before you think this just sour grapes, please understand that I have waited one full year to write this review and nothing has been done. After I hired Murphy, instead of doing the job themselves, which I made very clear to Brad Murphy that I needed one of their employees, they farmed the job out to one of the locals that I did not want. This gentleman did not make a proper lake as one whole side appears to be only be about two feet deep. I can’t tell exactly because the pond is leaking and is now almost completely dry. We have had several people look for the problem, and they all agree that it is the rocks that the builder just dug around (even though the builder stated that he had placed them there) that is the problem. Murphy Brothers Construction did nothing as promised. We now have a large, dry, weedy hole instead of a lake. Murphy takes no responsibility for the people they SUBCONTRACT even after being told explicitly that I had researched the locals and did not want them. This cost a large amount of money and Murphy Brothers will not stand behind the work and come fix the rock problem. It is a disgraceful way to run a company. Please see the pictures to look at our nice, relaxing “lake”. It is really sad to feel so cheated.

Knocked out a pond for me in a little more than a day and a half. Showed up when they told me they would and did a terrific job. Very talented dozer operator. Worked extra hard to get their equipment in on a tight drive with fencing. Would recommend to anyone. Very reasonable price.
