M A Jackson built and installed a new patio enclosure on our back porch. Work was done and completed on time and improved our ability to utilize our screened patio. Work included removal of old screened system and installation of new glass and screen windows. Excellent work by three person crew that worked as required and cleaned up everyday. Would use this company again with no hesitation. Nice to find companies that do what they say they will.

Customer service, communication and follow up with this company has been horrible. They seem to be completely disorganized in their scheduling. I would love to tell you how our enclosure looks, but we are STILL waiting on windows after trying to chase them down for weeks. We placed our order almost 3 months ago and have had to call to get follow up on every single step. Not a happy customer!

Approximately five years ago I had this company customize my back porch to be enclosed, consisting of screen and tinted vinyl windows. I was told this particular vinyl was highly resistant to high winds and heavy rains (storms). However, on numerous occasions, high winds blew in several of the vinyl window panels. Saturating my patio furniture.

I requested to have the vinyl replaced with a more durable product. However, that request was never granted. Although, the product has a lifetime warranty the replacement service has been nothing more than unacceptable, because they never addressed the issue, and only patched up a few of the windows. On one occasion clear vinyl was used that did not match the original tinted panels. So, I have that to look at now. I had to use clear tape to mend and prevent wind and rain from coming in. You can imagine what that looks like. This has been going on for almost five (5) years now and I still have this issue and unsightly vinyl windows with tape attempting to hold the weather out, but to no avail. I requested numerous times to have this issue corrected, but all I get is excuses and very limited support. After 5 years, of disingenuous service and warranty. I decided to try and buy a better product and replace all panels myself. In my opinion, it’s hard to find integrity with moral values anymore.

This is the most awful business that my mom who is 82 years old has EVER dealt with. For months she has been trying to get her bathtub replaced. Nothing but a mess. Workers DO NOT show up at scheduled appointments. Can’t even get anyone to answer on the business phone number. I would not recommend anyone using this company! Mr. Jackson has received several thousand dollars and now her bathroom has been nothing but a mess for months. She can’t even use it! Every missed appointment has been documented and lots of pictures of this mess!

This review is a bit late, but I felt I needed to write something. We had a sunroom added to the back of our house a few months ago. They did a great job overall and even though we had some issues with water coming under the door when it rained after the job was done, those issues were addressed and we are very pleased with Mr. Jackson's work. He even recommended someone to paint our cement floors and we LOVE it!! Mr. Jackson and his crew are great guys and I would definitely recommend him.

In Nov 2021 M.A. Jackson began a patio screen enclosure project for us. After completing the project in Nov 2021 and being paid in full I noticed defects. Water began pouring into the interior of a bedroom window near where a gutter was attached each time it rained. It took M.A. Jackson numerous service calls to stop the leak. M.A. Jackson had to pull siding off the home to correct the problem, damaging the siding in the process and leaving Tyvek wrap exposed. Today we noticed a leak in roof. We were told they were trying to find a siding color match to replace broken siding. We asked they try to color match with paint if they could not find the correct color. It has been 6 months since project was completed and we are still waiting for final defects to be corrected. This is our main concern. Meanwhile there were numerous problems with caulking of seems. We have been more than patient waiting for repairs! I decided to hire M.A.Jackson based on good reviews. We are not please at all and would not recommend this company. We'd like our siding replaced and new leak fixed.

Last year, M.A Jackson rebuilt my Deck. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. This year, they sealed and stained that deck. There were initial problems getting the right people out to do the job because of prior job commitments, but eventually things worked out. Everyone from office personnel, to the boss, to the stain crew, went out of their way to get the job do and make me happy. I strongly recommend.

When we met to review the scope of job to enclose our porch (replace screening with windows and doors and install flooring) excuse for delay was supplier issue’s getting glass. Understandable to a point, but poor communication and we had to chase down answers. Work was subpar and over priced. VP Flooring (which we had to purchase ourselves and is of good quality) is coming up in places after less than a year. Caulking is done so poorly that it is in blobs and in some places we had to fix ourselves. All fixed glass window panes leak. Been contacting Jackson to ask for repairs to be done for over 6 months and when we do reach someone we are told we are on the list for repairs they’ll contact us, but this has been going on for 6 months, we know they aren’t going to fix anything. Not worth the premium price or aggravation.
