What an incredibly frustrating process this has been. I am so disappointed. We purchased a Sunwood Home exactly a year ago and since BEFORE we moved in, we have had many repairs that needed to be made. We started the process by documenting everything that was wrong with our new construction home and we were assured that their warranty process would cover everything that needed to be fixed. And then for the last year, they have been impossible to get a hold of, and when I do speak with someone they are rude and condescending toward me.

So here we are, a year after purchasing our home with a cracked back wall, cracked drywall in our bathroom, 2 bedroom doors that don't close, an unpainted drywall patch in our closet, floors that pop and the wrong screen door that we were told would get replaced "after the New Year" guess I didn't realize they meant in 2026.... I

have been trying for the last 2 months to get someone to even answer a text message with no luck.

I am so frustrated. Please beware when purchasing a Sunwood Home and make sure that any repairs that need to be made get taken care of before you close or you might end up in this same situation. They obviously don't stand behind their work.

We love our house, but the warranty department is the worst of any builder I’ve ever worked with. I’ve filled out multiple warranty requests on their website (probably 6) but I have never received responses from them. It’s pretty frustrating that no one is handling that, or that it’s being ignored. I’ve resorted to calling their phone number since they’re not responding to these online submissions, and every time I call, they tell me that they never saw the request. I have no way of knowing the reality of the situation, but of the 6 or so requests I’ve made, 2 are still outstanding. To respect privacy, I won’t mention names, but one guy I talked to from Sunwood said that he was going to have IT look into their site to see if there’s an issue, but I don’t believe that happened because I sent in another request over a week ago and no one has responded. During that conversation (Jan 21st), I was told the warranty request I brought up would be addressed. It’s been 7 weeks since then, and nothing. It would be nice if this company had someone handling warranty requests and following up on them. My 4 stars is generous considering the poor customer service.

I love Sunwood townhomes. They have a quality product with competitive pricing. Clients love the spacious rooms, zero-maintenance yard, two car garage with a long driveway and features included. They always follow through to make sure the client is satisfied upon closing.
