Kind of astonishing that nobody thought of this before. Selling a home is the single most stressful thing most people go through in their lives. It was for us. Saying goodbye to a home, finding a new one, the move. We went through hell. The next time we sold a family home, instead of sweating and turning this change into a full time job, we handed it off to these guys. All their workers are pros, licensed, insured, and we didn’t pay till escrow closes. I didn’t have to suffer the emotional throes of updating my mom’s kitchen, or changing out the bathroom. But when they were done with the house, it went for so much more than we expected. I think they added at least 20% to the sales price. We just sat back and watched, didn’t pay a penny till we closed escrow, and we pocketed the profit. So much easier. I’m turning on my friends to these people. When you are selling a home, the last thing you want to do is supervise handymen, makes sure permits are in order, or packing up junk to take to the dump. Especially if you can get someone to do that “for free” and picket the profit. Again, I don’t know why it took so long for someone to think up this idea.

Stay away from this company!!! If you want a heartache this is the company that will give you one. They hire inexperienced contractors and the designer we had was horrible! We had things that were done that our city inspector did not pass, our inspection had several things that were not up to code and Freemodel totally denied it was their contractor when it was in their scope of work. We had plumbing, house wiring, woodworking, floors, roofing all with problems. Just stay away from Freemodel!!! Oh and the cost is at least twice as much as a direct contractor, and you will be able to verify the contractor you hire but Freemodel hired who they want! Again stay away.
