I have requested a gutter quote twice and have gotten no where even though I have spoken to employees. Say they will come but no one came. . Have bought from them twice before. Old owner passed away. Not sure what is up. Poor service.

I called asking to for someone to go up on our roof, take a look at our chimney, and let me know how much it would cost to get flashing added. Somehow, that meant I wanted them to go up and do the work without knowing the price first. So they went up, measured for flashing and a chimney cap (which I did not ask for), and decided not to do the work because the price was high ($1,800), wanting to get my permission first. They then called me and told me the price, and I told them I would talk to my wife about it. We decided not to go with Knudson Sheet Metal, but failed to notify them of that. I assumed I was simply getting an estimate because they came over and then called me with a price. Then they billed me $178 for the work they did, which was simply measuring a couple things (one of which I didn't ask for). When I called, I was told I did not ask for an estimate. I apparently wanted them to just go do the work without knowing what it would cost me. I appreciate the fact that they called to let me know what the price would be, but I was under the impression that I was getting an estimate. Now I'm going to be $178 short because the people I spoke to on the phone originally didn't explicitly hear the term "estimate."

I called for a quote to have gutters cleaned out. The person I spoke with said they charge $77.50 per hour.
I received the bill today and its twice the amount I was expecting to pay.
Upon calling for an explanation of the bill, I was told now that it's $77.50 per man hour (2 men were here) including travel time from their location.
They forgot to mention anything about travel time and $77.50 per man, per hour.
