Steve and the team at Botello Builders have taken care of us on a couple projects as we give our Phoenix home it's 50-year renovation. They're my favorite contractor to work with. First, their work product is great. They have raised, stuccoed, and painted the masonry wall around our property. They removed and rebuilt a section of slump block wall with gate. And they built our planters and mailbox for our front yard. Some electrical and related low-voltage was part of that. I did recommend them to a neighbor and they built out his pergola, pavers, firepit, etc (no photos of his work in review) and he's been happy with Botello. Botello is the company he plugs in when discussing upcoming projects -- "Yeah, once this is done, I'll have Botello come take care of that [whatever] project..."]

Second, Botello is great at communicating. They keep their project file and I don't have to redeliver drawings or instructions. When they do need me, it's all timely and professional notifications. Generally, they catch me on a missed detail or milestone.

Third, they're efficient. They don't leave the project open untouched for days and, at the end, they're done. When they're here, they've got everyone they need. In contrast, we had to chase our terrible pool remodel contractor for months to 'close out' their work -- where Botello just rolls and it doesn't take any of my energy worry about their responsibilities. It's all the difference for me; I got my own work to take care of all day.

I'm really glad we found them. I'd recommend them to anyone who wants to just hire a professional to come in, understand what you need, agree to a plan, and then just enjoy the show. It's really fun to watch good work and I'm proud to have their work on our home for the next 50 years.

We felt so lucky to have found Botello Builders; they transformed our home into a vision of beauty and functionality for our family. Our project was a whole home renovation: this 30-year-old house now looks brand new. If I had to choose one favorite feature of the project, it would be a tie between our kitchen waterfall island and our primary bathroom shower spa.

I normally don't write reviews for companies, but felt compelled to write a positive review for Botello Builders. I called them for a quote on a Thursday to fix my backyard block wall that was damaged by tree roots. I spoke directly to the owner who took my information and called me back a few hours later and scheduled an estimate to be done on my property the following day. The estimator showed up on time, talked to me about the job and took a few pictures. An hour later, I had a quote that seemed reasonable. Once I accepted, I received an email shortly after scheduling the job to be done on Monday at 7am. Workers showed up on time and completed the job by 3pm. They worked hard and cleaned everything up and I am very pleased with the job.

From the initial design consultation through final cleanup the entire process was exceptional! Steve and his team exemplify how a great business is run!! Their service is fast, efficient, and go out of their way to ensure you’re kept informed of every step and process in the project. His work crews are prompt, courteous, highly skilled, all nonsmokers, and used appropriate personal protective equipment (safety glass, gloves, etc.). They are true craftsman!!! Lastly, the entire cost of the project was clearly outlined and presented, and payment is done through a variety of convenient, secure online methods. If I have any future home improvement projects my first phone call will be to Botello Builders…yours should be too!!!!
