I cannot say enough positive things about this company and it's support staff! A little background, I travel quite frequently so stay in lots of hotels, Extended Stay most frequently over past 2 years. Well I work out of the rooms so the FREE Hotel internet is a must have. Well I guess for security reasons, Apple has increased the frequency of changing it's product IP Addresses from every 6 months to what seems like every couple weeks now. This is a real pain in the #$% because you'll get an internet error saying you've reached the maximum amount of devices for your FREE service, you'll need to now pay to have "upgraded" internet service. This didn't make sense so asked the front desk what's the deal, they always have NO CLUE, they'll say that you've probably added new devices and recommend paying for the upgraded internet with unlimited devices. I wasn't buying it so found the 866 support# and called. Well thank god the support service is provided by Velocity. They said let's see what they can find out, I explained I added no new devices, have had the same devices connected with a combination of Android & Apple devices. The Tech did some research and after 10 minutes says I got it, he explained how frequently Apple will switch the IP addresses on their devices to help with security. Well the Hotel system still sees the old addresses and then thinks you've added all these new devices, which takes you over the limit for the FREE internet, which then prompts them to recommend paying for the better internet. The Tech found the room I was in, erased all the old addresses, had me sign in again and everything then was working fine! I've now had Velocity help with this problem 6 times over the past 8 months and they're ALWAYS available!! I mean evenings, weekends, Sundays etc, someone always picks up quickly, they speak fluent English, they're articulate and understandable, everyone is always knowledgeable regarding my issue and again, always there!! They've been a life saver for me from a business standpoint because I cannot video conference with the office or customers if I don't have internet access. Listen, If you're a business researching an IT company to contract with to support your staff and/or customers, I cannot recommend them more highly, you will not be disappointed!
