Zac and his team are the BEST!!! We have had them for several projects. Broken septic tank line, new stop and waste valve, new freeze faucet, new line and outdoor faucet, new hot water heater, adjusting of three freeze faucets, and most recently a broken water line. They have always responded in a timely manner and have done high quality work. The best part is that their invoices have always been very reasonable. I recommend them without any reservations.

Zac and his team are doing the plumbing work for our new residential construction project and we would definitely recommend him. He was literally the only plumber that took the time to contact us when we were first looking to bid out the job. His prices are quite fair and transparent. His work looks professional and clean. I am updating this review to reflect that our gas and water hookups all proceeded smoothly. Also Zac went out of his way for us more than once so we could get things done in a timely way. He is really accommodating. We will continue to use him as needed when we are looking for plumbing projects or repairs. Thanks Zac!!

Zac Bowcut & Star Valley Plumbing destroyed our home. We have a report & estimate from a reputable master plumber calling out all of Star Valley Plumbing's mistakes & what we have to do to fix them.
Zac told us he had 25 years of plumbing experience, but he never showed up, except once & destroyed our hot water heater. He sent 2 young kids with no supervision that were clueless. Every job they did was wrong. Pipes are too long, too short, hooked up incorrectly, all the drains failed, we had floods & leaks that they came back to 'fix' but only made things worse. He has illegal vents in our new bathroom, so the entire bathroom smells like sewage. They chipped & scratched the inside of my master soaking tub & lost the tie step metal drain for the lower level bathtub.
Zac personally cracked our new $6,500 heat pump water heater because Mr. 25 years experience forgot to turn on the water! Zac sold us a $3,000 water system, that's wrong for the house & he hooked it up backwards. When I asked why our water still smelled bad, he to said give a week & the water was safe to run through our new appliances & fixtures. IT'S NOT!
He has refused to provide insurance even though I have the report & estimate.
We just found a leak in the wall that's been leaking for a month, so T&G ceiling, flooring, and drywall all have to come out because they didn't install or seal the pipes correctly. The floor in our lower level bathroom has to be replaced as well, along with the water heater, all the drains, the illegal vents, 1 shower, etc.
He installed 2 showers, 1 has a 2" swath of drywall INSIDE the shower! His guys told us on their last day that they never installed a shower before. They disconnected a wire after our electrican was here to hookup the lights & electricity for our master steam shower & installed the shower so that the wire is inaccessible unless we take the entire shower out & take it apart to retreive the wire.

He's dodging my emails & texts, refuses to show credentials for the kids he sent to do our job & has refused to provide insurance information for the $50,000 worth of damage he caused because he said it's not worth a claim.
We can't find an insurer anywhere in the valley, IDF or Jackson that insures him. We know he canceled a policy in 2019 & was getting quotes 3 months ago, but didn't buy a policy. He advertises that he's licensed & insured, but I fear that is a lie.

You can contact me for further details, but since this criminal is forcing me to sue him, anyone else whose home he destroyed then bullied you because you pointed out his mistakes should add a review & contact me. 99% of his reviews are fake.

Had great service the next day for a broken line to my spigot that was leaking in the garage. They were fast and also installed a water softener which the head was flawed do to manufacturing processes. They were able to get another one and came back that evening to finish up. I am so grateful to Zac Bowcut at Star Valley Plumbing. Star Valley Pluming replaced an entire plumbing system that was originally installed improperly by the builder. Zac responded to my dire need within a couple of days and within a week had completed the job. All this before the ground started freezing and hardening. I HIGHLY recommend Zac and his team at Star Valley Plumbing.
