Last week I got talked into getting my bathroom partially remodeled, with Austin Kennedy, for an outrageously expensive price. He made me write a big check (which I can't afford & he wouldn't let me use my debit card for this!) for half down but it was cashed less than 3 days later and I understand the company policy to be, a customer has up to 3 business days to change their mind. I am very upset that my check was cashed and called RVM that I want to cancel the "deal" and asked for my money back. So far I haven't been refunded and have been playing phone "tag" and haven't gotten anywhere with them! Do not go to or trust for anything RVM because they're nothing but a crooked racket!!! Austin Kennedy is a greedy selfish SOB that only wants to make big and fast "deals" in order to line his pockets with money, just to benefit himself! There's also another guy who works for them called Dante (I don't know his last name) but avoid him too, because he's just as greedy, as he came here the previous week, for a total (& very expensive!) bathroom remodel, so I canceled that, but at least I didn't give him any of my money. Both of them wanted to offer financing (with 10 f---ing years to pay them off at a really high interest rate, which I'm guessing they also would of financially benefited from), which I firmly turned down. Neither one of them aren't going to make a cent of a commission from me!

I have used River City Remodelers for 3 different large projects over the past years. They have remodeled my kitchen, living room and dining room. They have torn out old plaster and lath and replaced with sheetrock. They have installed custom millwork around windows, baseboard and crown molding. Their painting is meticulous as well as their tile installation. There are numerous other services they worked as a general contractor on. I can truly say that all services were excellent and professional. Tom and Paul and their crew are easy to work with and very pleasant. I highly recommend them and would hire them again for any other projects I may have.

Honestly one star is too much.
This is an absolute joke of a business.
I hired this company to do some work at my house. I asked for a bid. 3 weeks later I still didn't have one. At that point they gave a verbal bid. I then asked for a contract. 4 more weeks of promises and lies and I still had nothing.
What a waste of time.
Tom is very convincing when you speak to him but he delivers nothing that he promises.
He doesn't answer his phone. He doesn't return voicemails. He doesn't return texts.
7 weeks wasted!!
Did I mention this is an absolute JOKE of a business?

This was the worst service I have ever had and I would highly recommend not using. The owner made many promises to come and fix what was not done correctly in the first place and would never show up. I give them a big thumbs down. DO NOT USE!!! I would not even give the one star, but the program I typed this on made me enter.
