I’d recommend Dr. Hillis to anyone! He is so thorough, and he has taught me so much! I am truly so thankful for him. I originally started seeing him for hormonal issues, and I remember during our first visit he said to me, “We’re going to fix this.” I was a little doubtful given I’ve had many pharmaceutical doctors shrug me off, so I sighed and I said, “I hope so…” And Dr. Hillis looked at me and said something along the lines of, “You hope so? We’re going to get to the bottom of this. I’m not going give up on you.” He has invested so much in me, more than any doctor ever has, and I’ve seen him do the same with other patients! He has poured into me and taught me so much, I’ll always be grateful.

His wife runs the front desk and she is just so sweet! As soon as you step into their office it is so warm and welcoming.

My favorite part about being seen by Dr. Hillis is that I know he is a man of God, and to me, it means the world knowing that I have a doctor who is led by the Holy Spirit, bears the fruits of the Holy Spirit, and who prays for his patients. He really doesn’t treat his clients like another number. I’m so glad I found his practice, I wish there were more natural doctors like him!

I had high hopes that I would get help from Dr. Hillis. The first day I saw him he took a ton of notes and I was impressed that he was listening so much. But the next time I saw him which was not many days after, he had no idea who I was and had not reread the notes at all. He proceeded to order a ton of blood tests and could not even recommend a good place for me to go get them. He lead me down a path that was not correct and I finally gave up after spending a lot of money. The one time he called me when I was out of town, he was very rude and said he was only doing me a favor this once; not the caring, alternative doctor I was hoping for. He does not take insurance so it is all out of pocket and very expensive per hour. He may be good at chiropractic or certain diagnosis, but it did not help me.

We brought our 18 year old son to come see Dr. Hillis for an equilibrium issue. We had tried seeing several other doctors who dismissed the seriousness of our son’s issues. They gave him a prescription and told him to push through his symptoms as if he was lazy. Dr. Hillis was amazing on our first appointment. He was very thorough and was able to detect several issues with our son. He was able to order bloodwork and confirm a plan to help treat our son. We have been so happy with the work of Dr Hillis that we have had our other two sons see him for other health concerns. Dr Hillis has always treated them with the utmost respect. He talked to them about some serious health concerns but in a gentle manner so that teen age boys will listen. He was able to explain the importance of eating healthy and taking care of themselves. We have lived in the Southwest Florida area for 23 years and feel that Dr. Hillis is the most attentive doctor we have ever had.

I have been seeing Dr. Hillis since March of 2020. I have seen him for many different issues that have been going on with me. Unlike regular MD's Dr. Hillis will get to the root cause of the problem, He will not advise a bandaide to fix the problems. Dr. Hillis is a very wise, kind man who not only takes the time to listen to you, but takes the time to help you understand what the issues are , how to take hold of your life and make the correct changes so your body can start to be happy again. I trust his wisdom and know that he has my best health and interest at heart as well as for others.
