TL;DR: If you’re going to invest in windows and doors for your home, working with Soberg Windows and Doors will be the best decision you could make.

When the sales person comes to measure and quote your home, he will gush over the quality of product and service you’ll be getting from Soberg—and if you’re anything like me, you’ll think to yourself, “sure sure, of course you’re going to say that.” But even during that first consultation, you’ll notice Soberg does things a little differently.

Every single part of my experience, from consultation to cleanup, has been a dream; genuine white glove service. The scheduler will keep in constant but non-intrusive contact, letting you know the status every step of the way. The owner himself is present and involved. The salesman will check in throughout the installation, and will ensure even minor issues are corrected.

But, the real magic happens with the installation crew.

I’ve had construction crews at my home before, and fortunately I’ve had positive experiences working with great companies. But these guys go so far above and beyond, even my best experiences pale in comparison. Every single member of the crew was amazingly conscientious, polite, upbeat, friendly, and forward thinking (for example, the person replacing my door checked to see if I would be replacing my floors soon, to ensure the door would still close nicely after the floors were done). They installed everything as though they were installing for their own family, taking the time to make things work on my 1940s home as though it was brand new. They were considerate of the fact that I work from home and were surprisingly quiet. I could write pages of examples of all the ways I was wowed.

The windows and doors are stunning. Everything is amazing. Seriously. This is the company you want to use.

Soberg replaced my old, leaky bay window (circa 1970's) with a Marvin Infinity picture window with sliders on each side. I could not be happier with the window and the services performed. It was a couple of months from order to install, and they followed up every couple of weeks or so to let me know the progress of my order. They arrived on the date scheduled and exactly on time. The installers, as well as the owner, salesperson, and office admin, were all professionals and very nice to work with. The installers did an absolutely beautiful job, including interior trim and even touched up my wall paint! The outside flashing is perfect and nobody could ever tell that there used to be a bay window in that space. I am beyond happy and would HIGHLY recommend Soberg for any window needs.

This is the second time I have used Soberg Window & Door Co. Two years ago I had a large picture window replaced on the side of my house. I wanted the window to match the wood interior to keep the vintage look of my lake cottage. Their attention to detail and matching the woodwork, and a good quality product made me choose them again for replacing a large picture window on the front of my house. They also replaced a very old screen door with a nice storm door. Very happy with their service and products. Communication was excellent from start to finish.
