For people who are new to the building and architect process, you need to read this before working with Wick. Our experience with the independent contractor builder was going well at the beginning of the process, and we were referred by him to Wick to complete our pole shed design with their "designer". We were told that the builder couldn't complete the estimate without this step. We paid $2500 for this designer, and accepted that we would have 2 "design" changes for this price, as we were starting with a generic floor plan already and just wanted some advice from a designer on how to make it fit our needs. We waited 2 months to get our "design" project started. We were then allowed 1 phone call with the "designer" who gave us no advice or assistance with the design. He only wanted us to tell him what we wanted him to draw in their software. So we proceeded to do our own research and make our own decisions, translating them back to the "designer", who, throughout the 2 months of emails, barely responded and when he did respond he just kept saying how busy he was with other projects. We had finally settled on a design, sent over our final changes, when we received an email saying we owed $1000 to Wick to finish the design. We never received "design" services to begin with, but now we are out $2500 for spending 2 months trying to get someone to draw our ideas in a software program. Come to find out from the builder later, the plans from Wick weren't going to be architect drawings, so we would have had to pay more with an architect to get it finished. If you work with Wick, go directly to the architect firm outside of Wick and save yourself wasted money. I typically only post good reviews, as small businesses need support, but in this case I don't want others making the same mistakes we did.

One of your trucks almost caused an accident leaving your facility in Mazo. They cut off a row of cars. This is a very common occurrence. Instead of waiting an extra 30 seconds, they feel entitled to cut off traffic. They then proceed to get onto 78 and go 40 the whole way to sauk causing major slow downs when the speed limit is 55. Please talk to your drivers as I have seen this almost everyday on my commute to work. Let's make the roads safer for everyone.

If you get any barn kit from wick that isn’t a simple square building Goodluck, cheap nails, screws, plans are terrible to ready compared to other companies. Unless you have experience building with Wick blueprints, goodluck.

Had a difficult time with the initial build in 1998 and getting repairs done has been a struggle almost 20 years later. I put an addition on the barn, five years after the initial build and used a different company. I heard nothing but good things about this company. That however has not been my experience with them.

"I recently made a post regarding wick buildings and alleged that it stole from me, had no integrity and wrongly sued me. I was wrong. I voluntarily agreed to pay wick and was, in fact, ordered by a judge in missaukee county case no.2020-10132-CZ to make payment to wick buildings. I had no factual basis for my statements regarding wick buildings and I regret making these untrue statements"
