Such a fraudulent company and recruitment system. DO NOT APPLY and do not even bother being interviewed. I was interviewed by Suzie - I knew it'd be too good to be true and never heard from her again even after reaching out. When will recruitment agencies realize how immoral it is to mislead candidates?

Yes. I'm basically echoing the negative reviews but I feel it's important to speak up.
And, yes, job searching is frustrating.
And, yes, recruiters and hiring practices have devolved to a de-humanizing process in which you rarely get even an acknowledgement of your submitted application anymore.
I recently got ghosted by a company after 6 rounds of interviews and the company has reposted the job 4 times in the last 6 months Two interview rounds were rescheduled multiple times and the process of 6 rounds took 2 1/2 months.
So TMP isn't alone in the lack of consideration of job seekers. BUT they are mostly alone in their overselling of their values and concern for mothers.
After going through their ridiculous application process yet again, I've decided enough is enough and I won't ever fall for one of their emails or job postings again.
I also have applied for dozens of jobs, all of them jobs for which I am well qualified. And I got 1 response and then NO follow through from the people at TWP who must hate their jobs to do so little of it. No one ever returned my subsequent emails or attempts to contact them to follow up regarding the interview I supposedly had.
The "supporting Moms" TMP claims or valuing them is not evident in any of their practices. Most of the admin jobs are so low paying that it seems to support common view that mothers who took a pause in their career for child rearing have minimal value.
They seem to have no concept of fair pay for some pretty significant responsibilities.
If they REALLY cared about women/moms or any job seeker with qualifications, they would tell their clients that 18-20 or even $25 is NOT decent pay for the experience and skills they require.
Their website is a nightmare. Jobs look like they are still open ... months later. So likely if you apply for anything older than a month you are doubly wasting your time.
I have more than 20 years of experience and I have received 2 emails from a guy who thinks that a $20/hour job might be what I'd be happy to take. So I got unsolicited contact but no reply to my many applications. That is the only contact I've received despite falling for and applying to a ridiculous number of jobs they have posted.
I know someone who did get a $20/hr admin job through them 3 years ago and turned down another better paying opportunity for a job that was not as described and she consistently worked for more than the 20 hours she was getting paid for. They made her feel incompetent. And TMP gave her no support. 3 months later the employer just ended the job with no notice and complained about their fee so my friend knows exactly how little TMP pays in proportion to the low pay rates the workers get stuck with.
My personal experience and advice is that a few high paying niche jobs get attention and the rest of the job postings are either fake or maybe they are not exclusively contracted for the recruiting. And the TMP doesn't not respect job seekers/
I can't imagine how they are serving their clients if they do such a poor job taking care of quality candidates.
Job searches are frustrating enough. Save your time for other more responsive job boards and resources.

I'm a big fan in the concept of The Mom Project and happy to support what they are trying to do. However - as an employer, I submitted a Job Description 3 weeks ago. The Job Status is still listed as "Submitted for Review". Seems like they should hire a Mom to handle this for them.

This site could use some serious improvement. I was on this site for almost three years. Applied for literally 100s of positions. Never heard back. Never received any emails on why I wasn't chosen. I was told this site was amazing and I'd find a position no problem seeing as I have experience in a wide array of roles. But unfortunately this website leaves much to be desired. I'm not entirely sure of all the hype. It's supposed to be a step up for moms. Instead it feels like an abyss that touts more opportunities for moms and then doesn't deliver. I'm normally against leaving such reviews. However, as of late I feel as if the more constructive feedback you give people, maybe the more change that can happen.

Wow this site is a mess. I spent 30 minutes on it, thought I applied to 2 jobs, there is no way to even tell if I did. I reached out to customer support and they said I didn't but I did. I've been applying to jobs for a month now and this site is impossible to navigate. Total disappointment. It's hard to imagine a company having any luck finding a great candidate this way. Stay away is what I say.

I have over 10 years experience in marketing + degree. I’ve applied to relevant jobs for years and no reply. I recently applied for a marketing manager job with a $23/hr rate. Wow I finally get a reply. They are interested in hiring me for a XXX company at a rate of $23 for a 8 month contract!!! I go to the XXX official website to get an understanding of their pay rate… they are hiring directly for the same position at 6 figures $120k+!!! So why is the Mom Project low balling me for $23 - with my 10 years experience and degree when I’m obviously worth 6 figures according to the same companies website.

Are you paying your Moms lower and keeping the overhead Very sad news to see. Moms are worth more than low ball pay. Time to negotiate with these recruiters. They are probably enjoying a sales bonus for recruiting someone at a fraction of the price!!!

I've been on this site for years without every getting anywhere job wise. I had one job accept my application for an interview and I was soooo excited! I was told they would call me. I wait and waited and no one calls. I finally call the number I was given and she seemed like she forgot about me. Then, she tells me even though it's remote, I don't live in the area she wants (which was not listed on the job at all). I offered to end the call there to not waste time but she kept interviewing me and I thought things went well until the very end when she asked me to write a proposal for her of what I could do and how much I would cost. I was disappointed to say the least because I thought I was interviewing for an actual role, not having to bid for work. I don't think this platform is really elevating moms, especially when most roles have thousands of applicants. Sounds like no one is getting anywhere by other reviews.

I was told AMAZING things about The Mom Project from fellow working moms. However I have not found out what the fuss was about. I have applied for numerous roles, all of which I am qualified for. I have had Zero communication back, good bad or otherwise about the status of my application. I will go back and check on the site and it will still say 'Applied' or 'Closed' and I have no insight as to why. I want to to be better for all of us, but right now it seems that the other comments are holding true. This site feels like yelling into a void. // I will update if things change.
