I had the pleasure to dine at Sand Valley Golf Course - The Gallery - at a special event Tour of Italy dinner and wine pairing. The wines were paired perfectly with each course and explained by the sommelier and chef for each course. Each course was devine, but the Butternut Squash and Tortillini paired with the 2021 Lodali Chardonnay was exquisite. I would recommend attending a wine dinner pairing in your future

The golf courses are amazing and they are the real stars here. The service was a bit uneven; mostly excellent and professional but on more than a few occasions, aloof and detached.. On the other hand, the food is solid and the $1 brats on the golf course is a stroke of genius.
On a scale of one to five the golf is a SEVEN! The courses are beautiful and the conditions are immaculate. The caddies I had were both amazing. If this were merely a golf review it would be a no brainer 5 star. Our room was modern, comfortable, and the bathroom was super functional and spacious. Also, we had a nice patio
overlooking the “ sandbox”’
Overall, in my opinion , it’s a four star resort that’s very near to a five star resort.

We ate at the Gallery for dinner on a recent Saturday evening. This Italian restaurant is on the Sand Valley property and serves delicious pasta and pizza along with daily specials. This is the fourth time we have visited and most everything was consistent with the exception of a grilled chicken breast that was part of a Tuscan Chicken special. The pasta and sauce were delicious but the chicken was so dry we couldn't eat it. All our other dishes, short ribs, chicken Parm and pizzas were delicious.

Sand Valley is by far the most gorgeous, friendly, and affordable golf resorts I’ve ever been to! The grounds were pristine, the staff were always willing to help and kept a smile on their faces. The lodging was impeccable, and the food was amazing from the restaurants to halfway houses on the course.
The caddies made us feel so welcomed, were very knowledgeable, and extremely encouraging. Special shout out to our favorite caddies Josh and Joseph because that duo is second to none.
Dan the man was the go to guy on the resort and could answer any question you had and accommodate any request you could fathom.
This golf resort was the best experience I’ve ever had, and I will definitely be back to visit.

5 stars for location?

The place is in the middle of nowhere. How could it possibly be 5 stars?

Very simple - only in this kind of location could a series of golf courses like Sand Valley be built

Golf’s original courses were on sandy land linking the solid ground to the sea. The terrain of Sand Valley is all sand - perfect for building links style courses.

Like other Keiser properties the lodging is rustic exteriors with very comfortable interiors.

Likewise the food - good taste, good quality, and suited for a golf resort rather than the Champs Elysees. If you’re looking for 3 Star Michelin dining go elsewhere. If you’re looking for some good food to reenergize for the next round and perhaps a few adult beverages to facilitate tall tales of how you think you played then you’ll be happy dining and drinking at Sand Valley.

Everyone at Sand Valley was very welcoming and friendly. The shuttle service worked well. And the golf was every bit as good as expected.

Played Sand Valley. Course was fantastic! Was super fun and in great condition. Phil, the caddie in the group was awesome!!!! Already planning a return trip to check out Mammoth, Sandbox and Sedge!

Sand Valley was absolutely amazing.

The level of service from everyone to the starters to the waiters/waitresses is outstanding. Course conditions were 10/10.

Our group really appreciated this level of care we got at the price we paid. Can always respect a business with this level of dedication and not price gouging their customers for $350+ rounds. This course/facility was better than any $400+ round location our entire group has played

Absolutely gorgeous golf courses and still pretty affordable. They bent over backwards to make sure we had what we needed to bring our baby with us to the resort — special shout out to Jessica who was just a ray of sunshine in the experience.

Some suggestions: Resort should invest in some duvets/better bedding. I expected more from the beds and sheets. Also, they should look into a little more variety at the restaurants. Additionally, once they have enough visitors, also strongly recommend adding some spa species — massages and nails. Just basics.

But overall, we loved it and will definitely be back.

Mammoth dunes was my favorite of the courses and also want to give a shout out to Goose who was one of our favorite caddies ever. He made even the tough holes fun.
