Unique experience with a lot of volunteer effort put into it. Each ride lasts about 8 minutes. I was there in October, so the route was adorned with Halloween decorations. I recommend bringing a small seat cushion, since the train car benches are wood. Parking is tight, so try to arrive early. Portapotty bathrooms are available. There is a concession stand with basic treats and refreshments.
Your admission gets you an armband, which is good for rides all day.

The miniature train ride operated by the Milwaukee Light Engineers Society is truly a hidden treasure! The attention to detail is incredible, with the train winding through multiple scenic landscapes, each crafted to mimic the countryside, bridges, and tunnels, giving you the authentic feel of a long, adventurous journey. Even as adults, we had an absolute blast, and it’s easy to see how children and toddlers would be captivated by the experience. The seasonal themes add a special charm, making each visit unique and exciting. Best of all, it’s free, thanks to the amazing efforts of the Milwaukee Light Engineers Society. This was an unforgettable experience, and we can’t wait to return!

We came for their night train rides and it did not disappoint. The trains were soo cute and small. They had ones for small group and ones for large groups. The price was worth it. We went on about 3 times due to us being a large group. It was so much fun with the little one. Everytime we went we tried to make sure to see every thing they had out. Once the sun went down, you really got to see some of the items better. Our favorite was how at night, there was green lights in the trees that just made it look amazing. Would def recommend this for anyone with little ones. Worth it!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️

My kids thought this was the coolest experience: to sit on TOP of the train and ride it through the themed tracks. They offer free rides throughout the summer. Donations encouraged.

We had an absolutely fantastic time with the free and unlimited train rides for both kids and adults. The experience was seamless and enjoyable from start to finish. Make sure to check the 2024 train schedule, especially for every Sunday, to plan your visit.

The process is simple: just fill out the consent form, put on your wristband, and you’re all set to go. We had so much fun and can’t wait to come back. Highly recommended for a fun family outing!
