Brett Light Is an amazing salesman, and a truly knowledgeable employee. He was patient and kind and was always available for us. I he was rated on a 1 to 10 scale he is a twelve!! The crew that came and did the work was very knowledgeable about the products. They also cleaned up after themselves and were polite.
We would highly recommend Mount Valley Foundations.

Job was quoted, accepted, and then they followed through exactly as promised. Mike Zelewski went above and beyond my expectations getting the huge job done when promised. We have a 3 year old son so getting our basement fixed was #1 priority. MVFS made us feel like they respected that. I 100% recommend them for any foundation service needs. My job was 60 linear feet, 12 inches wide, about 5 inches deep. Closed gutter system into sump pump. All interior walk out basement. They also installed vapor barrier on all interior block walls.

Mount Valley did an outstanding job encapsulating our crawl space and explaining the entire process. The work was both professional and effective, greatly enhancing the comfort of our home. However, it's advisable to request an itemized list with prices for the entire project. I managed to save thousands by outsourcing specific items; for instance, the installation of a GFCI outlet for the dehumidifier in the crawlspace, which Mount Valley quoted at $1,100. I hired my electrician, and it cost me only $150. Additionally, building an airtight crawlspace door was quoted at nearly $500 by Mount Valley, but I crafted it myself for less than $100 using materials from Lowe's. It's essential to research and take on aspects of the project independently. In the end, my total project cost was approximately $13k. Finally, I advise against selecting the $70 Remote Hygrometer option. I mistakenly assumed it was a remote for controlling the dehumidifier and did not remove it from the original quote. The provided remote is solely for monitoring humidity and temperature in the crawl space. Moreover, I discovered the same remote at Lowe's for $25, indicating that Mount Valley inflated the price by almost triple. Adding to that, the remote I received was not new; it had stains and scratches. Certainly, having a remote to control the dehumidifier without the need to crawl down each time would have been a reasonable expectation, especially given the substantial project cost of almost $13,000. I didn't get the results I was told I would get.They did the work but the outcome was not sufficient and ultimately was a waste of time and $12k. They even came back out after I voiced my initial concerns and still couldn't make it right. I should have specified my desired outcome in the contract so I would have had a leg to stand on legally. I'm not saying they are a bad company its just that their sales guy/estimator sold me a lie. Make sure you get the desired outcome specified in your contract.
*EDIT* Bumping up to three stars for now as they have proposed some additional work that will help my foundation at no additional charge to me. I will further revise my review should this work take place to my satisfaction.

Brandon and Jarvis were awesome! They encapsulated our entire crawl space. They were extremely professional. They explained the entire process in detail. They were on time and made me feel extremely comfortable with everything. They completed the job quickly and my crawl space is pretty big. They called me to do a walk through and showed me how to monitor the dehumidifier and my sump pump. They answered every question I had. They were awesome! I would recommend them any day!

Devon, who is the salesman that came out and looked at our situation. This is one of the most pleasurable experiences I’ve had any contractor. There wasn’t any pushy sales presentation just the honest facts. We scheduled to have the work done and they came exactly when they said they were going to they did exactly what they said they were going too. I would like to give a big shout out to all the employees that came out here and worked as hard as they did. I am in the construction business and would be proud to have any of these guys as employees. They worked very very hard. Like to give an extra shout out to Damian and David who did a large portion of the work. Couldn’t be happier with the quality work and would highly recommend them to all my friends and family!
