What an amazing crew, they arrived at 7:15 a.m. and stayed until the multiple buildings were completed. Everything finished by 7 p.m. Great job with the clean up as well. We would recommend XL for roofs, gutters and downspouts!

We have been working with Derek L. on updating our roof, siding, gutters and garage door. He has been so helpful and extremely on top of things! He keeps us up to date every step of the way which is very nice so we know next steps and processes! We definitely recommend using Derek and XL contracting for your home needs! Update: In less than one year, XL Contracting's roof repair has failed, and is leaking into my home (see pics).

Buyer beware! Avoid this scam of a company at all costs!

Wow I truly regret hiring XL. The work has been completed, BUT... Buyer beware! I felt like I was baby sitting them throughout this entire process. Hired in September of 2022, the roof is finally watertight on 2/28/2023. The active leak I hired them for was ignored to get worse for over 5 months, despite being promised all work would be finished by end of October 2022. They said they would get a tarp over my leaking roof right away, but never even did that.

Was told by the owner Jason that he would walk away from the contract because of these issues, then threatened to file a claim for lien on my property, then admitted to being a liar over the phone.

Extremely unprofessional and tried to overcharge me multiple times, the salesperson Derek wanted me to sign saying that I am satisfied but that is far from the truth, he was extremely rude and unprofessional, and was not on the same page as the office workers. Tried overcharging $500, then $300, then Derek said "what you never made a mistake at your job" (extremely unprofessional).

From the pictures of the ridge vents, it looks like the nails are just exposed and there is no tar over them. The ridge vents don't look very even, and there is clearly debris left on the roof. This looks very unprofessional to me, and I can't believe I paid almost $1,000 for this hack job.

Still upset that their work was supposed to be completed in November and my active leak sat and got worse for 3+ months, over a job where they were in and out in one hour... Wish they got to the roof a little sooner like I was promised because now I have more interior damage that the insurance company did not assess for. After all work is completed and final check sent, I still have brand new gutters that were damaged and work still being needed done on the roof.

Communication between office and workers was horrible, did not know when workers or materials would arrive. I won't hire this company again. They are quick to call or text about receiving payment but take them months to get to an active leak! That makes me feel taken advantage of and like they ripped me off, especially charging so much for one hour of the town handyman's time (and the completed ridge vent looking uneven and not water tight).

Taking way longer than told to fix an active leak. Was told everything would be finished by the end of October for sure. Signed contract in September and still not addressed! My roof continued to leak for 3+ months after this. The work needed was only a hour of work done and they sent the town handyman who I told I did not want working on my home (in and out in a hour, and the job does not appear to be done professionally). Left metal and shingle debris loose on my roof. Also damaged my brand new gutters they promised to be careful with. Parked trucks leaking oil all over my driveway which I now have to clean. Scratched up my garage door and garage access door, which I now have to repair.

Ron must have been looking for side work and commented on how I needed a door replaced and said he would do it for $800. I bet he would. I got it done for $300. Very scammy here.

XL Contracting deleted my comments on their Facebook posts about false advertising and calling them out on having bogus or paid reviews.

Has been nothing but a headache working with XL and I regret hiring this company. Lied to about start and completion date and that they would be careful with my gutters, clean up after themselves, etc. These are not professionals but crooks! They will take advantage of you and charge you full price for sub-par work! They did it to me!

XL was excellent to work with! From the first contact with Brian and the follow up with Cory, my roofing job was handled with professionalism and courtesy, with explanations of every step of the way. There was some unexpected damage once the old roof was torn off, and Cory was immediately there to handle the necessary modifications. The work crew were hardworking and efficient, and clean=up was excellent. Highly recommend XL!

I can not say enough. Fighting with insurance for a year to complete my roof and siding Arman never gave up and had excellent communication with me. He proved to me what customer service is all about. Once everything was approved the work that was completed by the construction crews was spot on. 5 stars is not enough. My home looks brand new. The team is great to work with while supporting my insurance issues but struggled with some of their sub contractors. The team that completed the re-roofing were fantastic, did a great job cleaning up, and were very courteous. The windows unfortunately took two round before they were right. I found the XL team to fantastic when addressing any of my concerns and grateful for Roman and his support.

Great pricing and service. Only one constructive crticism. Accepted job which included refinishing two level deck. Never told us they weren't going to do the deck until job was done. Overall, still highly recommend. Great job and service.
