From inspections to renovations, Ross does it all! We initially met Ross when he inspected the home we were purchasing in Athens. He was thorough and took the time to walk me through the inspection report in a way that made it easy to understand what needed to be done. Based on that experience, Ross was the first person we thought of when it came time to update the home we purchased. He completed several projects, including a kitchen renovation with new cabinetry and reconstruction required for this update, an extensive pantry remodel with custom cabinetry, beautiful custom built-in book shelves in our home office, a main floor 1/4 bath remodel, and three projects that included new floor tile. Ross has an eye for design and impeccable attention to detail. Everyone on his team is dependable and trustworthy; they genuinely care about the end result. We love having Ross and his crew around and he will be the first call on my next project.

At this point I’ve paid for 5 inspections in 4 states, and Ross is tied for top two! I definitely recommend inspectors who are also contractors, such as Ross, as they give a more thorough report, and have a idea as to what the repairs will cost. Ross’s report was detailed, thorough, and he was able to prioritize. A bonus in my situation was that he had inspected the same house two years ago, so he was able to assess what problems had been addressed or grown worse. He’s also personable and easy to work with. I would use Black Locus again. Recommended!
