I want to sincerely thank Eugene at Competitive Cameras in Dallas, TX, for an outstanding experience—even though I’ve never set foot in the store. I purchased a Nikon Z6III, along with the 24-120mm f/4, 35mm f/1.8, and 85mm f/1.8 lenses entirely sight unseen, and Eugene made it not only possible but seamless.

His knowledge, patience, and efficiency over several emails and phone calls made me feel like I was right there in person. We went into painstaking detail comparing camera bodies, debating lens choices for both weddings and personal work, and reviewing specs and use cases at length. Eugene never rushed me, always provided honest input, and ultimately set me up for success with a kit that fits my needs perfectly.

Great store. I purchased a used EOS R and it came with a bad battery. Eugene promptly reached out and shipped me a brand new OEM battery and charger. Fantastic customer service. I will be a repeat customer.

Today I stopped by Competitive Cameras for the first time, and I have to say, that this place is a gem. I was looking for a used lens and was treated very well by all the staff members. Eugene is running this place with the service level of a good local shop you can trust, along with products and services that match or exceeds the big stores. Additionally, I got there only 20 minutes before closing but they still served all their customers with patience and professionalism. At no point did I feel that I was rushed. I think I just find the place for my future purchases.

I had been looking for a Sigma lens (for a Canon EF camera) that was extremely hard to find (since it was discontinued) and found that it was available at Competitive Cameras. Eugene was super friendly and helpful and made sure he had it in stock and in his hand before I placed my order. He shipped it quickly and efficiently and I received the very well-packaged lens in two days. I was so grateful for his service and assistance and he made it easy! By contrast, I thought I'd purchased this same lens from another online source, but they failed to mention to me for days that they were out of stock after they'd already charged my card. Ugh... So glad to have found Eugene and Competitive Cameras and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for camera gear online.

Eugene knows everything about cameras! No joke. With just the bare minimum of information, he quickly found the perfect camera for me and it was quite affordable. He didn't try to upsell me. He also fixed my tripod and didn't charge me anything for his time. He believes in fixing what's broken instead of just buying a new one. Where have you been all my life? Buying camera equipment and maintaining it just got a lot easier.
