I just recently met the doctor. I went to him for a second opinion about having a hysterectomy because my first doctor had me very nervous and fearful. The very first visit, he made me feel peaceful and his confidence just covered me with comfort.
I decided to go with him for the surgery all because of the comfort he gave me.

He is old fashioned in that he takes time to talk with you, like a friend. The surgery was serious to me and to him, but his injection of humor just again, brought me out of the fear zone into, "let's get this thing done and over with." On my surgery date this last Saturday, June 28th, just seeing his face and smile walk in as I was nervously waiting in the pre-surgery room almost brought me to tears. He makes you feel like he cares and his confidence in what he does is palpable. He told me and my husband, "I love what I do, it doesn't feel like work." I felt safe in his hands and I went into the operating room smiling rather than crying! His sense of humor is just perfect, not annoying or inappropriate. I cannot recommend him more highly. Dr. Rapoza walked me through a normally fearful time so wonderfully I am extremely grateful God led me to him.

I have never had major surgery and honestly it was such a great experience, as great as surgery can be. This doctor doesn't inject you with fear but passes peace to you through his passion and experience for his job, His style of being a doctor is so rare in a way that it is very old fashioned, exactly what you expect from a doctor. He takes time to talk to you and ease any concerns, not just push you through to the next client. I feel God blessed me to find this man and I cannot recommend him highly enough. I am 5 days post-op and aside from a little soreness and discomfort from major surgery I am walking around, ready to go back to the gym and resume normal life. The Doctor wants you to recover, be well and live your happy life! You can feel it! Thank you Doctor Rapoza so much, so very much for the peace you brought me!!!!! Thanks for caring.
