I genuinely wish I could give zero stars here, as our experiences with Blenker were extremely frustrating

We were the first tenants to arrive in one of their new rentals, but the place was in terrible condition. There were muddy boot prints throughout, a haphazard paint job that appeared to be rushed, dry wall and plaster dust everywhere, AND of all things -- a used toilet. Having to clean the place before even moving in was irritating. Despite being a new build, the handle on the master bedroom window was broken off and it did not seal properly, the master shower door had its screws stripped and was missing adhesive so it constantly fell off its track, and the screen door on the patio never slid properly. We made note of all of this on our check-in list as well as created maintenance requests, but otherwise bit our tongues and moved on.

We rented from Blenker for over a year, and our checkout process became just as much of a nightmare as our arrival. They had conveniently "lost" our original check-in list. They tried to charge us for damaged blinds on the front door (which were actually ours, I purchased them since the other larger rentals did not come with them). They did charge us for the aforementioned screen door, of which we never used and had made a note to maintenance when we moved in, but it never got fixed. The compromise? Splitting the cost halfway, which was infuriating. This was all topped off by poor communication and long wait times.

We have walked through other homes built by Blenker, and they appeared to be of good quality, but after this experience we simply cannot recommend them for any of their services.

Blenker Construction was professional and reliable from start to finish of our basement remodel. From the initial consultation to interior design to construction, their team set the timeline and completed with no delays. Mark R. was hands-on and always available for any questions we had. Melissa in the design center had great ideas. Everyone on the team was kind, helpful, and dependable. Our basement is now amazing and we highly recommend Blenker!
