I contacted Sand Rock in regards to what I thought was a simple parking pad next to my house. Upon Tyler and Jim looking at the area, they pointed out the things I over-looked; mainly, water run-off management. Basement windows, our central air unit, retaining wall and a yard shed all had to be taken into consideration. We came up with a plan, and they handled everything like it was a non-issue. I couldn’t be happier with the results; they turned our rutted up mud pit into a usable space.

We had this huge, thick concrete pad on the side of our house that was cracking and pooling water, and eventually it started coming into our basement. Jim and Tyler came to give us a quote and I knew we were in good hands immediately. They talked through the issues with us, inspected the area, and came up with a project plan that would fix the problem and also match our budget. They asked a lot of questions and explained everything, so we knew exactlyn what was going to happen and when. When they removed the pad, everything they said was causing the problem was spot on- whoever poured the slab before didn’t grade it properly, the base was too thin and shifting. It was a mess. I came home from work as they were finishing and they took the time to show me what they found and walk through (again) what the plan was. Once they finished, it looks amazing and no more leaky basement or puddles of water!!

These guys know what they’re doing, their work is amazing, and unlike other contractors, they’re there when they say they will be and get it done fast! What we paid was beyond worth what we got. I will definitely be calling Sand Rock when we redo the rest of our patio and recommending them to everyone!
