Summerset came recommended to me.  I gave them a call and we immediately set up a time for us to meet.  We met with John J and he couldn't have been more helpful in fully explaining all the piers that were available.  Soon, after seeing all the options we decided on a permanent pier.  The whole process was fast and easy.  They came out to our property, did the measurements, came up with a plan.  I agreed, signed the paperwork and within a few weeks the guys were  out on the lake installing our new pier.  Mind you, the weather conditions were windy and it was snowing.  These guys were determined to get the job done.  Took just a few days and we LOVE the clean look of this pier.  I was so pleased with Summerset that I also inquired about a new lift.  Summerset was happy to suggest what we needed and put together a plan.  Within a few weeks, we had our old lift removed and and a new lift installed.  They even helped me advertise and sell my old wooden pier.  When I inquired about having the old pier removed from my shoreline, Summerset agreed to help me transport the pier to the boat launch for my new buyer.  Everything went smoothy and I couldn’t be happier with the service we received.  John J was exceptional in communicating with us via phone and text to get the job done!  I would highly recommend Summerset!

We had the pleasure of working with Travis and the Summerset team to install a lifetime pier on our property along the Yahara River in Madison/Monona, and the experience was fantastic. Summerset provided us with a wide range of pier options and took the time to explain the pros and cons of each. This included multiple appointments and a visit to their showroom on Madison's Northside, where we felt fully supported in making the best decision for our needs.

Given our riverfront location, we chose the lifetime pier option. It’s perfect for us since it doesn’t need to be removed during the winter, and we won’t have to worry about ice causing damage. We’re thrilled with this durable solution!

Over the course of a week, the Summerset crew installed the steel beams that make our pier ready for all seasons. It was fascinating to watch their work in action. The team was friendly, efficient, and professional throughout the process.

Overall, we’re incredibly happy with our decision to work with Summerset. This partnership is just beginning, as we have future projects, and we’re excited about what’s to come. We highly recommend Summerset to anyone considering pier installation!

Buyer Beware if you plan on doing business with them.

On a Wednesday I made arrangements with Dave at Summerset Marine in Whitewater to buy a roll in dock.

I was going to have to rent a trailer for pickup, so we agreed that I would pick up on Friday.

Friday Morning when I called to confirm he was there for pickup he told me that he sold it to someone else Thursday night.

I reminded him that he had committed to selling to me, and that I had made arrangements for a trailer.

He said he was tired of waiting, and just wanted it gone. I told him this was unprofessional for a dealership to do business like this, and then the phone got silent, and he hung up on me.

I had an excellent experience with a boat lift install by Summerset. They did a great job in placing my lift that was shifting when placed in the water. The installers stuck with it and the new lift is in the correct location and works and looks Great!!! They have a Great Team!! THANK YOU!!!

Delay, delay, delay... Nice products, but....
In November '23 we placed (and paid in full for) an order for a pier section. In February we asked about it and were told the parts would be shipped to them in early April. In early April we again inquired and were told by John M. that the parts were ready at the manufacturer and would be shipped soon. A week later we were told a glitch in ordering had occured and the parts hadn't been ordered. At this point we were getting frustrated, and Tony M. picked up the ball, getting us a starter piece out of their stock, so we could at least have a partial pier and launch our boat. On May 9 we were told the pier sections were ready to be shipped. On May 24 the parts were delivered to us, but the legs they sent were not the correct ones - not even compatible with the frame! So we measured existing section legs and sent details on what was needed to Tony, who placed a correct order at the end of May. Finally on JUNE 14 Tony dropped off the correct legs, and we were able to assemble the section and get our pier completed. YIKES!

Summerset Marine not only built our pier, but makes sure our boat lift is in when we arrive from our winter escape. Ice was still floating and our lift was in! This is a perfect start for our summer. Thank you!

Summerset's Lifetime Pier provided us with so many great memories during our first summer on the lake! We worked with Jon J in sales. He showed us different options in their showroom, then came out to do measurements onsite & determine the best layout. Next, an engineer came out and got in the water to make sure everything would work before sending to production. Communication between all team members was excellent and we signed off on all updates. The installation crew was enthusiastic & efficient. We were pleased with the whole process and highly recommend Summerset Marine!
