Características:

Great place for a picnic. Very clean restrooms for a public restroom. Shelters are nice and playground great.

The grills at each picnic area are a little rusted out, so may still be useable, but you're gonna drop coals through.

Access to the lake is sketchy, if you are over 35 and don't have a boat. Nevertheless, the view is incredible.

ON second thought, I wish I would have tried to scurry down the hill to get a closer look at the Lake, but I did not want to twist my ankle on a rock.

For a fun day out with the family, this park is a great option. The playground and slides are perfect for kids, and the picnic areas are clean and well-maintained.

However, if you plan to visit the lake, be aware that access can be limited for those over 35 without a boat.

Resumen:

Road Side Park is a great destination for a family outing, offering a playground, slides, picnic areas, and a lake with a beautiful view.

While the park has its limitations, such as the grills and lake access, it is still a great option for those looking for a fun and relaxing day out.

Has access to the Summersville Lake. Jump to the water, kayaking, boat launch, or simply look at the lake.

It was a nice park. There was shade for the parents to go to and sit on a bench and the benches weren't far away from the actual playground. The playground was cute but should have been shut down due to the equipment being broken. Instead they put up some orange material to block off those areas but! It was easy for the kids to move around it and fall threw. I had to stop my child a few times because they thought it was apart of the playground equipment and wanted to go threw it. It was kinda scary. In all, if that was fixed and maybe a few more picnic tables and grills there might be more families there during the summer and weekends.

Fun little park. Missing some swings and toys, like one of the shovel diggers. The slides and hamster tubes are a big hit with kids, and there's a lot of room for picnics, bbq, volleyball or badminton. Bathrooms were closed on our last visit, but I think a port-a-potty was set up. There are no vending machines anymore, so be sure to bring all the food and drink you'll need. There's a lot of leaves in the fall if you bring a rake to pile them up! Cell service is adequate.

We had a family reunion there. The kids love the playground. Close to bathrooms with a sidewalk from the pavilion making easier for handicapped and older folks.
