We live in the Berthoud, Heron Lakes YPC subdivision and Castle Pines finished our basement. Don, the owner, was fabulous to work with and the quality of work was top notch! He went above and beyond to ensure everything was very high quality and done right, even having the trades come back and redo something if not up to his standards. We would highly recommend Castle Pines!!

We just started the process with Don and all I can say is such great things, but most importantly we feel like we can trust him for every part of this adventure to be fair to both himself and to us. Will continue to update our review, but wanted to at least post something because he truly is amazing so far.

Update #1: signed contract, confirmed dates and submitted plans to the city. Sent ideas back and forth for things wanted. Let me say that the communication is AMAZING. Very responsive and in contact with us every time needed and sending us ideas and deals he finds for items on our checklist for approval. Also got a grasp of the style we wanted kinda before we even knew what style we wanted haha. Already on track to start this week, possibly next. Smooth and fast, Don just gets thing done and doesn’t lolly gag around. More updates to come.

Update #2: ready for the first inspection after framing, plumbing, hvac, and electrical. Still so smooth, fast, and the quality is amazing. Already chose next items for the next steps as well, in which Don met us to help choose and verify things that would both work and look good, this is his world so we definitely appreciate his opinions, but he tries very hard to not make any choices for us making sure it’s our personality; he just there to make sure it’ll both work and look good once done. Little changes requested were always met with the ability to make them work, but we definitely tried to not abuse the accommodating nature Don has though. Added photos and more updates to come.

I have worked with Don on a variety of projects over the past few years and have nothing but the highest regard for his work and for him as a person to work with! Unfortunately, in his profession this is something that is somewhat rare/hard to find. So, once I found Don I have never called another contractor or repair person without calling him first.

I could write a really long review - fearful that no one would read it; but Don's first job with me was a critical remodel/bathroom install for a house I had bought that my disabled father HAD to move in to. Time was critical in this event and Don became our family hero - "Jack of all trades." He did EVERYTHING for us. Electrical work, HVAC work, plumbing, electrical, construction, moving walls, building closets, putting in a shower, toilet, lighting and a sink/vanity. To say Don saved the day for us would be an understatement.

This man, and his company are the best I have ever seen - and I'm old'ish (68) and have owned quite a few homes. This is your person should you ever need what he offers. I give you my word.
