Reliable is only the beginning! Not only is Chris reliable, but punctual, professional, talented, and ingenious. Chris has worked on several projects at my house and all have turned out beautifully. He has a knowledge base that allows him to generate great results with a wide variety of projects including door replacement, window replacement, interior and exterior wall repair, and finish work. He works the job to completion, is accurate in his estimates, and gives a realistic expectation of time, materials and outcome. I plan to continue to utilize his services for as long as he is in the area! Recommend very highly!

Thief and liar are just the beginning. Gave Chris over $7,000 in cash for work to be done on our deck. First red flag should have been that Chris doesn’t have a bank account and can only accept cash. Not only did he not finish the job, he never came back to do touch ups, replace the railing on the staircase or clean anything up. (I have invoices and receipts). He stopped responding to me when I couldn’t send him proper measurement for our screens to be replaced, something he should be doing himself. As Chris explained, no one in the 4corners is a good person because they’re all liars and thieves. He apparently gets business by bashing all the other contractors in the area. Makes sense since he wouldn’t post his business card at the mail stop in forest lakes claiming another contractor always writes “FRAUD” on his cards. I’m very glad he will not be back in our home as I’ve heard some super sketchy things about him from several others. We do not feel safe around thieves and liars. And after speaking to our lawyer he suggested the best solution would be our review on google as he is broke and doesn’t check his mailbox. Our notes are on record and both my husband and I would 100% testify under oath regarding trying to get our money back.

Reliable Handyman of Colorado (Chris) was an absolute godsend for us when we moved to Bayfield. Over the course of three years in our house, Chris helped us with numerous home improvement projects of all sizes and scope: removing cabinets, full remodeling of a bathroom, installing new sink & garbage disposal, installing washer and dryer, replacing baseboards, drywall work, fan installation, electrical work, etc.

Chris is extremely professional and a proactive communicator. He always showed up when he said he would and finished the job within the scope of his estimate. One of the best things about Chris is that he includes the client in the process — I am a complete ‘newbie’ with most things home improvement, but no question I asked was treated as uninformed or silly. Chris takes the time to explain the process and give helpful suggestions about maintenance after his work is complete. Don’t think twice about hiring Reliable Handyman of Colorado!

I gave him money to finish my back deck. I gave him money for the labor and for a new railing. He never came back and ignored my messages when I started asking when he was going to return the money he stole from me. I am currently suing Chris.

Beware of this guy, seriously. I know multiple people in the area who have confirmed this guy to be a fraud, felon, and much, much worse.
