Scott helped us create our dream home! We had been planning our house renovation, including a full kitchen remodel & extension, brand new bathroom, plus a 400 square foot sunroom for over a year before being introduced to Scott, who took our vision and brought it to completion in a few months.

The name Horowitz Family Construction took on a whole new meaning as we began working with him. He treated us like family throughout the entire process and worked on everything as if our house was his own. Every person he contracted with and brought into our house were kind, friendly, and did careful and whenever applicable beautiful work. He ensured we were able to stay in our house as comfortably as possible through the duration of the remodel.

Were there challenges? Of course! Houses always come with surprises- especially a project of this magnitude. But, Scott responded promptly, troubleshot as he was able with his team, and clearly communicated with us our options and choices. Most of the time a hiccup led to an even better outcome that none of us had considered. If it felt tricky sometimes, we never doubted that our home was in the best hands with Scott and his team.
We even felt part of the team!

We would jump at the opportunity to work with Scott again and we periodically daydream about what we could hire him to do next. For now, we get to delight in being in the home we have always wanted to share with our family and friends!

I am so grateful I found Horowitz construction! I bought my first house last year and wanted to add a kitchenette to the basement, along with a few other changes.

Scott was very attentive and listened closely to what I wanted and was looking for. He was very thorough when providing me an estimate and gave several ranges since there were some unknowns prior to getting started and he wanted to avoid surprising me. Scott never tried to push unnecessary fixtures or processes. He was very patient with me as his client, even when I circled back to his original suggestion on a few things.

I trust Scott immensely and will not hesitate to use him for any future projects I have. The outcome was just what I wanted and he made the project as easy on me as it could be. Aside from his work on my home, Scott also changed my flat tire for me when I was surprised by a complete flat one morning on my way out the door! Scott was a wonderful general contractor to work with. We started looking at renovating our kitchen and basement December 2021 and had difficulty finding anyone to give us a firm commitment. From the onset, Scot Horowitz was actively involved and monitored the various subcontractors, always had someone ( himself or his foreman ) on-site to make sure everything was proceeding as needed. The workmanship is excellent, and in comparison with several of our neighbors (even with consideration of delays I receiving special orders) was more timely. Several changes, as suggested by Scot, proved very helpful, and improved the results.

Needless to say, we are very pleased with the job, and recommend them highly!

Highly recommend Scott Horowitz and his company. Scott was easy to work with, on time, great communication and the job finished as scheduled. Very trustworthy as we were out of town while his team worked on the project. Had to tear into the kitchen ceiling for repairs and the end result looks amazing.
