I suggest not sending any emails to find out a project status or complain in anyway. You may receive a really friendly call from Jon that seems to go well, but the next day you'll have the pleasure of walking out your front door to 5-6 guys standing around chatting right across from your driveway to make sure to tell you that "Good Morning. You called yesterday right Your road is going to get worse before it gets better" and laugh at you while you walk down the street to your car for the 100th time since they tore up the road you live on... because they can't be bothered to make a proper transition between a torn up road, a curb and a driveway.
