I drove 30 miles to get something from this place and it was closed. 11 am on a Sunday. I can't understand why they are closed on a Sunday. Cost me $20 so they lost my business. I guess they don't want the working man's business with the hours they have.

I have used this business for years now, including custom ordering building supplies and received excellent customer service. Staff is very knowledgeable and quick to help you get exactly what you need, including picking for you among the best of their lumber and materials- not just what’s convenient. They stock many items not found at other hardware stores and of higher quality. Would definitely recommend for the home handyman, remodeler, or professional builder.

Paul (store manager) is a great guy. You ever need anything or have questions about anything, he is the guy to ask. Steven mixes paint that is an exact match to anything you bring him. All of the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and if you do have an issue, they correct it with no problem. Highly reccomend going here.

Customer service was really great. The cost was triple what I expected. I am making a work bench and online it said materials would be $20, but it rang up to $67. I had to downgrade a little.

My family and I have been coming into Meeks for quite a few years now, and have had positive experiences. Until earlier this week that is. Went in to buy some pellets (also some sisq logs, but they were out). The young guy at the gate threw both bags in without a care, then slammed my trunk lid so hard it rocked my car. Then when I stopped at the gate house to let him know how I felt (and yes, I was polite, didn't raise my voice, and at the end of of the discussion I thanked him), he had the attitude of "who me? Have no idea what you're talking about". He was rude and disrespectful, and if I haven't had good experiences at Meeks before, I would never come back. He needs to learn how to do customer service correctly. And the cherry on top was one of the bags of pellets had a big tear in it from the trunk hinge when he slammed the lid.

Every time I go in there it’s like I’m interrupting break time B.S session. Nobody is really interested in putting in any effort to sell anything. I came in to drop some money on remodeling my bathroom such as a bathtub and was told “Nope we don’t have any bathtub’s in stock”. Then continued to B.S. didn’t offer to help order one or anything just left me standing there. I wanted to shop local but I’m going to go somewhere else from now on
