RMG did the structural design for our custom residential project. They were very professional and competent. David Schmidtt was very responsive and answered all of our quesitons. Jeff did a great job putting the drawings together. Would highly recommend them.

One of the worst companies to work with. The foundation engineers aren’t very pleasant to speak with, they don’t want to take the time to answer your questions and they aren’t very helpful. If money is no object and you want a foundation that is over engineered then choose this company. Because of them we were told we would have to spend an extra $40,000 on our basement, when we have spoken to Colorado Geological Survey and they said that the over excavating that RMG recommended was crazy. Our soil only had 2% swelling, but Colorado Geological Survey states “that 3% or more is generally considered by engineers potentially damaging and require specially designed foundations.” Every disappointed that we spent money with this company and can’t get an answer on to why we have to over dig other than to pay their engineers $125.00 an hour to watch it being back filled.

We worked with RMG designing and engineering heavy timber trusses for a custom residential project. They were great to work with and were very open to ideas of reviewing design that made the fabrication process more efficient.
