I am a property owner. I hired a guy to pour a small slab. Apparently, he didn't pay Shelby. The first action that Shelby then took was to file a lien on my home. They never even gave me the courtesy of a phone call, letter, or friendly attempt to resolve the issue with me directly. Their first action, essentially, was to punch me in the face. I am a Christian man who takes his faith very seriously. If they would have simply reached out in a non-aggressive way I would have paid them and they would have saved the time and money of filing the lien. I don't know what other options there are in the area for concrete but if this is how they do business as a norm, I wouldn't take the risk.
