I used them to fix some structural support issues after finding some unlevel flooring about 6 months ago. Overall, they had good recommendations and reviews when we weren't first looking. The work appears to have been done well (except for the mess and tearing the waterproofing). The employees were all nice. However, once they get your check, don't expect them to ever show back up again. The two major issues that I have, 1) they left the area underneath my house a mess, muddy, pikes of dirt, and tore the waterproofing material that was already there; 2) follow through- they never showed back up to adjust the piers/pilings that they placed. We set a date (before they finished the initial work) for 3 months later, and I haven't heard a peep out of them.

I'm very dissapointed, they seemed better that the 'typical' flooring story companies.

We had some significant floor issues due to the settling of the house and Kennedy was one of 3 estimates we got for the repair work. All the estimates were basically the same work with some companies throwing in extras we knew we didn't need. We chose Kennedy due to their pricing, their longevity in the community (you don't survive doing shoddy work), and their guaranty. The work was done in a timely manner, they were prompt, respectful, and we are very pleased. We would recommend them to our friends and have them back again if we needed foundation work!

I was not looking forward to having major work done on my elderly aunt’s house from several states away. My experience has been that communication with contractors can be difficult even in your own neighborhood. Kennedy and Sons Structural Solutions made the process easy. They got the work scheduled and completed very quickly. They communicated clearly and provided a detailed bid laying out what they would do. They shared drawings and photos before starting and photos after completion that made it easy for me to understand what was being done. Highly recommended!

We purchased a house that ended up having the need for waterproofing to be done to the basement and although that was such a large inconvenience to our plan, it still needed to be done to ensure our home was able to be lived in. Fortunately for us the seller had provided us a quote with a company who had the French Drain technology that we wanted performed and so we went with them. Their customer service far exceeded our expectations and they were always responsive and keeping us informed about the progress. Even when their contractors accidentally broke our garage lamp, they acted quickly, purchasing us a new one, and coming over to install it! They provided us with a lifetime warranty which gave us peace of mind. We appreciate having had them service us and if we ever have need of them again for any of their other services we will definitely be reaching out.

My husband and I employed Kennedy and Sons approximately a year ago to install piers in our crawl space, an endeavor that came with a warranty guaranteeing adjustments if needed. Unfortunately, the company has failed to honor this warranty despite the evident necessity for adjustments to the installed piers.

Over the past few weeks, we have reached out to Kennedy and Sons six times via phone and once via email, seeking resolution and assistance. Each phone call ended with a promise of a return call that was never fulfilled, and the email to the owner remains unanswered. We also scheduled a phone call online which they never called back for. This consistent lack of response and disregard for customer service is both disheartening and frustrating.

It's crucial for potential customers to be aware of our experience. A company's commitment to honoring warranties and providing post-service support is vital, and based on our experience, Kennedy and Sons has fallen significantly short in these areas. While their initial installation service was satisfactory, the subsequent support and honor of warranty have been markedly absent.

My hope is that no other customer experiences this lack of accountability and service from Kennedy and Sons in the future. It's essential to engage with companies that stand by their work and maintain open, honest, and consistent communication with their clients.

Jeff came out personally to trouble shoot my issue. He met with me for about 60 minutes and answered all my questions. He offered me options and educated me on the details of each. He also took the time to walk to the front of my house to discuss my roof run off which was also contributing to my issue. This was not a concern of mine but Jeff felt it was important for me to be aware of all of the things causing my issue. He even sent resources to me if I wanted to handle the roof run off myself. Jeff values the relationships he has with his customers whether they will be having work done or just need some expert advice and options. I have had work completed by Jeff and his crew before and it is top notch. If you want piece of mind that your foundation work will be solid for years to come look no further than Kennedy and Sons. Don Kennedy and Sons repaired the Lintel over my garage door. The lintel was sagging from the weight of the brick above the garage door. They installed a system they call 'Lintel Lift'. This was the best solution I found for a PERMANENT and good looking repair. It was also approved by my 2-10 Warranty company. Their installation team did the installation in less than a day and it looks perfect. They were professional and left my property in a clean state. I highly recommend them for this permanent solution for a sagging lintel.
