I have been living at 225 Grand for the past three and a half years, and I truly appreciate my experience here. The building is consistently clean and well-maintained, featuring updates that ensure a fresh and modern appearance. The concierge staff is exceptional! Such a dedicated group, committed to providing outstanding service and always willing to assist tenants.

Recently, something in my apartment needed to be fixed. After submitting a request, Mars, the maintenance technician, promptly addressed the issue early the next morning. Just two days later, I encountered him in the elevator, and he graciously asked, "Hi Adam, how's everything in your apartment working?" This is just one of many examples of why I'm glad I live at 225 Grand. It is gratifying to live in a residence where the staff not only recognizes residents by name but also demonstrates genuine care for their comfort.

All I can say is WOW! I have lived in apartment buildings for 30+ years and to say I am a seasoned renter is an understatement.
The management company is stellar with customer service. The effort and level of care each person I have dealt with has been nothing short of wonderful. All of my questions and concerns were immediately addressed.
I was able to see my new home the day before I was moving in. In fact, I was told as of midnight, I could get the keys. I am an early bird. By 4:30am, I began my journey of bringing some of my things and collected my keys! There was even a package filled with goodies for my French Bulldog from Bark Buildings!
The maintenance team and concierge OVER THE TOP! Within 24 hours I was unpacked and settled in. The residents are friendly and have only the best things to say about their experience as most have lived in the building for a long time!

I have lived in 225 Grand for about four months now and this building as exceeded my expectations. I moved out of an Equity Residential building and the difference is night and day. The building is extremely clean and well-maintained. Everyone who works here goes the extra mile to make living here comfortable.

I am pleased with the amenities and love my apartment.

I have to give a special shout out to Terry, who has been so helpful to me in the last few months. He has gone out of his way to help out with any issues regarding moving, coordinating a delivery, etc. I'm so thankful for his willingness to help and his kindness. Kudos to him and the rest of the concierge team!

I've lived here for a few years and it's been a great rental experience. Friendly staff are always helpful, and the amenities are good. Close to the Grove Street PATH station for easy commute to the city. Pretty economic compared to the rest of the buildings in jersey city.

I have to echo the recent reviews about management. It was extremely frustrating getting a hold of the management team while I was in the process of moving in, which made the transition much more difficult than it needed to be. The fact that one of the property managers is new does not excuse the lack of communication and mix ups with keys and getting me the proper materials I needed to move in. There were also a few issues with my apartment that management should have taken care of prior to me moving in, including having a shower rod in the tub! That being said, the concierge and maintenance teams have been fantastic.

The reason I am giving this is one star review is not so much so because of the apartment itself but because of management. Every smart renter knows that a buildings management makes the apartment. Quite frankly, the mgmt here is terrible. Even in the beginning when wanting to view apartments mgmt was rude, brash, difficult to get a hold of and used high pressure/cliché sales tactics. Apartments Felt dingy, outdated with flimsy construction & patchwork to make it seem like it was a luxury building. The amenities are not worth the cost, the gym is joke. Mgmt constantly ignored requests, complaints and provided zero resolution. The company that owns this building along with 18 Park is KRE which is Kushner properties of Charles Kusher, The convicted felon slumlord. Rent at your own risk.

I’ve been disappointed with the management office since moving in. They are often unresponsive, which makes it difficult to address any issues or concerns in a timely manner. It sometimes feels like they are unavailable when residents need assistance. Improved communication and responsiveness is NEEDED!!
