Original post was 1 star, edited to 5 because Tripointe was fast to respond, but now, about 14 months after settlement, I'm reverting back to 1 and I'll tell you why: I've been in a back and forth with NP Mechanical (useless HVAC contractor for Tripointe) and the disaster that is my AC and heating -- which has been partially functioning the duration post-settlement. To this day, and as of this writing, my compressor still has issues and NP Mechanical is literally unable to fix this to the point Tripointe has had to hire a third-party to find a resolution. I've warned Customer Service -- and Kimberly, manager of Customer Service -- of this issue the entire duration I have owned this house.

Other issues to consider if you're a potential buyer: Title Company decided it was funny to hold my refund check and play the bad communication game on settlement, beware of LoanDepot and the preferred title agent -- they are liars and their local office in Corona is a ghost town. I wonder why.

Numerous neighbors have massive flaws with major pieces such as foundations, and general structure. Get a home inspector and do it early, and make Tripointe address everything in writing.

Great staff Linda is amazing and helped me through my purchase process smoothly. Michael is always there if we find any issues (which was only 2 minor ones) and he makes sure to get workers to fix it immediately, literally next day they came. We went to look at these houses and fell in love. This is our first house, and you can't get better than a new build. The community will be gated(+), and the houses are affordable(++). We haven't met our neighbors yet because our house isn't completed yet. Everyone that we've met that works for the company, from finance to realtors to design, have all been amazing and super patient. Especially due to the fact we've never done ANY of this before and it's like a foreign language. They've taken the time to explain, answer questions, return phone calls, etc. I've referred a few people to the community with the hope of having some neighbors we already know. Ask for Lu. She's amazing. Hopefully, you'll fine your forever home as well. Also they send pics as the house is being built to update you on their progress.
