Broadmoor Estates community has been amazing thus far. Terry and Ben made my transition a smooth one as I moved here from another state. They always helped me feel welcome prior to my home being completed. I can honesty say since I’ve been in my home I have been happy. The community is clean, quiet and my neighbors are friendly. When anyone drives by whether they know you or not they wave. I love that southern hospitality feel without having to live in the country. They even have an easy warranty process online to address any concerns. Chris the warranty guy has been pleasant and very knowledgeable when he comes out. He addresses everything within a timely manner. I’m so glad I joined this community.

I have had a great experience working with Terry and Ben! The building process had a few delays due to COVID but overall I've had a great experience. Majority of the neighbors are friendly and the area is quiet. The only downside is the HOA. For the price there are not many perks.

Moving in to Broadmoor was a pleasant experience. We scoured the south DFW area for months looking for a home that fit our budget and value expectations. The market prices are higher than before, so make sure you choose a builder that will match quality with price!

I want to start by saying not only as a disabled combat Veteran, but as human being have I ever been treated this way by any builder in Texas the way I have by First Texas homes. The experience and treatment is extremely horrendous. If I could give 0 stars I would, I believe this is the lowest quality among Texas builders in terms customer satisfaction and customer service I've ever experienced. I haven't been treated even close to fairly through out the entire process of trying purchase a home through FTH. Terry Beck the community sales rep hasn't treated all buyers in the community equally, it's not fair to hold lots for people who don't give you earnest money, when I was required to do so in order to obtain lot to build a plan.Terry told me the majority of the buyers in the community have been Black and minority. Terry made a lot of excuses as why she showed favoritism or preferential treatment to this buyer from out of state, they bought a plane ticket to she was waiting on wire transfer from them. We'll I served in combat and was just asking to be treated fairly. I gave earnest money Jan 22 and got a Feb 1st contract date, the price went up twice before the date and has continued to do so. I was initially told by Terry's boyfriend Ben who works at the community as an assistant that we could have a lot as the individual they were holding it for didn't give earnest money like we had and they hadn't heard from them in awhile, but Terry insisted on reaching out to her, but her boyfriend Ben an assistant at community said he was certain the lot was ours. The buyer I guess they finally got hold of them, the earnest money or her Plane ticket checked out or whatever excuse they wanted to justify so we had to find another lot and got the run around until we finally secured one, but it wasn't easy process and got really unpleasant. I can also only assume the individual got an earlier contract date and better price despite not giving earnest money initially like I had to right away. My realtor and I reached out to the FTH operations manager Kathy provence an extremely rude and unprofessional individual to let her know what was happening at the community, Kathy didn't like that and told Terry not to do Business with me or my realtor. The next day Terry calls to tell me my contract date is canceled that was the following day, because she has a newly implemented quota of two contracts per month and prices are subject to change "what a coincidence". Kathy even told me on the Phone the buyer bought a plane ticket to justify the special treament and Terry wanted to do it for them. I even went to headquarters to speak to leadership Kathy was still just as rude an unprofessional, also quite authoritative, despite not being the CEO or Division President and insisted the last stop was with her to get anything resolved. I told Kathy it's not fair for me to adhere to the standards and do everything right and have another buyer not to have to adhere to the same standards and Kathy said Terry chose to do that for the individual pretty much sumed it up. Kathy I served in combat and it is insulting for you tell me because someone buys a plane ticket warrants special treatment, when I'm not asking for anything but to be treated fair. I spoke with Keith Hardesty the Division President on the phone he voiced concern and that he would reach out to the community, he had my number and I emailed him he never reached back out or made it right. My date also got pushed to unknown date, as Terry called again and said my plan and all similar to it that are already undercontract were paused until the porte cochere design is approved by the city of Ovilla TX. I called planning zoning from Ovilla it should be resolved now haven't heard from Terry. Potential buyers beware, if they'll treat a disabled combat Veteran like this, I'm sure our first responders and any human being are subject to unfair treatment with First Texas Homes. All buyers should be treated equal.

I love First Tx homes very decent builder with a quality product to offer as far as I'm concerned. However their homes have gone up to ridiculous amounts. The model we got 5 years ago is the same model for this community and I promise we paid nowhere near what these folks out here are paying for these homes. I can see trouble brewing ?
