Robert, Shawn and team helped me transform my ugly, outdated, non functional and closed off kitchen into a beautiful dream space. Everything from electrical, recessed lights, to plumbing, flooring, countertop, drywall, paint and cabinets were custom designed to our needs. This is the second time I have used AC&R and would definitely use again. They are courteous, responsive, professional and they don't waste time. I love that they have materials in office to help me design and plan the space. Once all materials were ordered and received the whole project was done in just under 2 months. Now my living area flows with the kitchen and I have much more storage and counter space than I did before and was even able to get a dishwasher, beverage cooler, pantry and a large utility closet for my washer/dryer. I had my primary shower remodeled by AC&R and overall I am disappointed by the result. When looking to remodel, I got half a dozen quotes and went with AC&R even though they were one of the higher bids. I liked that they specialized in bathrooms and had a showroom for us to visit.

Once the project phase began, there were multiple back and forth between the sales person and the foreman. We had agreed on all the details with the salesperson, however this seems to have not be communicated to the foreman. The end result was a change order. That was a bit frustrating since one of the selling points on AC&R was that they wanted to capture all the detail up front so there were no surprises.

The crew was very clean and polite and always picked up at the end of the day and arrived on time in the morning, which we appreciated.

The main disappointment I have is with the end result and quality of the work. Upon completion we noted jagged, uneven cuts in the tile (especially around the drain) uneven grout lines, overfilled and under filled grout lines and large caulk fillers along the walls. Additionally, the tiler had grouted in between changes of plane, where I believe it should have been siliconed. When asked about this the foreman said he was unsure why they did that, but offered no solutions. The result of this was a bunch of grout cracking over the next few months. AC&R responded by sending someone out to put more grout over the top, which honestly doesn't look great.

Additionally, after starting to use the shower, we noticed that water was spilling out under the door. When we contacted the foreman, he told me to buy an Amazon part to put on my brand new curb to stop water from bouncing out. Very frustrating considering how much the remodel cost.

**Update: Robert contacted me and personally came by my house to address my concerns. He sent a crew out and they fixed the issues I was seeing. Appreciate him taking the time!

Hopefully this is helpful to anyone looking to remodel their shower. I am only giving 3 stars because they did come back to fix a few items, or else it would be closer to a 2. I had hoped AC&R would be able to do my other shower remodel but I will be looking elsewhere.

Robert Salas at A. C. & R. listened to my “vision” for my bathroom remodel and was very accommodating in making it happen. His crew were professional and courteous. I was able to reach Robert, the project overseer, at any time and he always responded in a timely manner. When there was an issue regarding the installation of one of the elements, he worked on fixing the issue until I was 100% satisfied. Not only did A. C. & R. remodel my bathroom, but also my kitchen back in 2021 and they did a fantastic job! I highly recommend A. C. & R. for your remodeling needs.

I contracted with AC&R for two bathroom remodels and they have delivered with excellent work and could not be happier with the outcome. All the staff has been tremendous in assisting and guiding us through all the nuances of a bathroom remodel as first-time homeowners. Communication with AC&R was above and beyond as they always answered my questions or request within a day of sending a message to them. We threw a lot of curve balls and changes in our vision and they handled every scenario with a solution that let us get what we wanted.
Working with Steve as our project manager was great! he ensured that our bathrooms were on schedule and accommodated to any request that we needed to match our schedule. He had the expertise of what the industry standard was and supplied impactful information to help us make the right decision for our bathrooms.
Florice was amazing with assisting us with the designs of our vanity. We made many changes and she worked weekends to ensure our build was on schedule and provided us with multiple designs to help make our final decision so we may see it from different views.
The list goes on with Shawn and Taylor who helped with choosing and supplying the product which shows the culture in this company that they care about what the customer wants and wants to make sure they get what they envision.
I highly recommend them for any renovations needs you may have as they will deliver!

I recently had the pleasure of working with Robert and his AC&R on a home remodeling project, and I couldn't be more satisfied with the exceptional service and outstanding results.

Right from our initial consultation, AC&R demonstrated an impressive level of knowledge and expertise. A.C& R Construction completely renovated our master bathroom. The tub was removed and replaced with a beautiful custom acrylic floor to ceiling shower and custom shower doors, new flooring, sink and custom cabinet with custom top.

We have an older home with plaster walls. The tub and original shower tile had to be demoed. The crews carefully blocked of this part of the home and used an air filtration system to keep the dust to a minimum. All hardwood flooring leading to the construction was carefully protected during construction.

I particularly want to commend Steve Garcia, the Production Manager/Forman for his scheduling, daily job planning and supervision of his crew. Steve was always courteous, the job was completed on time with high quality workmanship.

AC & R has been a pleasure to work with. We had a major flooding incident at our residence and Robert and his team have been superful helpful throughout the process along the way. From installation of flooring, walls, vanities, everything was done in a timely fashion. Realistic timelines were set and adhered to by Robert, and they even finished ahead of schedule. While every situation and scenario is different, I appreciate the professionalism I have received.
