After much research, my husband and I hired Lior and his fantastic team at Adept to build a much needed pergola over our back patio—and we chose to interview his company on the strength of the overwhelming *5* star reviews his satisfied clients have offered. And now we know why Adept continues to achieve these ratings—they are simply THE BEST on so many levels!! For example, even as Lior’s professionalism, creativity, and warmth sold us on the spot when we first met, our high expectations for the ideas that Lior offered (he is so smart!) were even exceeded by the beauty of our finished projects, and the integrity with which he does business.

The pergola—much more a work of art than a simple patio structure—was completed on time, within the budget, and with spectacular craftsmanship! We were thrilled! So thrilled, in fact, that we further retained Adept to: remodel an outdated guest bath (also stunningly and professionally completed); redo our badly worn hardwood floors with beautiful vinyl; and finally to transform our uninspired turf-grass front yard into a wonderful drought tolerant, sustainable, California native-plant wildlife habitat. And trust me—we only said good-bye because we ran out of projects!

The bottom line is this: Not only is Lior gifted with a keen intellect, amazing creativity, and artful aesthetic, he is also one of the kindest and most genuine human beings we have ever met. He runs his business with respect and appreciation for his team, who in turn offer the same to us, the client. Lior also requires exacting excellence from his team—and they certainly achieved this for us. Further, all of our projects were designed, implemented, and concluded within the context of constant attention and interaction with Lior, himself. Leo and his team at Adept knocked it our of the park on our pool deck project. Once we met him for a consultation, we knew right away that he was our guy. We had a really great experience working with Lior and his team. Referred to us by another contractor we trust, he did not disappoint in the least. He helped us remodel our backyard, putting in an outdoor built-in BBQ, pavers, a new Pergola, installed Turf, 2 decks, and lighting throughout. The finish product is just "wow". The photos I think speak for themselves.

From the beginning, his eye for design and attention to detail was apparent, and was a refreshing surprise from previous experiences with contractors. You could tell he was organized from the detail he put in the scope of work document alone, which just set the stage for clear communication, reasonable expectations, and fair pricing. He actually listened and offered ideas along the way that complimented the design and enhanced our vision, to make an even better final product.

His crews were great (even let my daughter take a picture in the bobcat); timely, professional, and clean. Each phase was efficiently done, and when we ran into issues, Leo stepped in, and help get it solved. You really can't ask for more from a G.C.
