We’ve done our fair share of home improvement projects over the years, but working with ODM Construction for our bathroom renovations was truly one of the best experiences we’ve had. From the moment we met Humberto, we knew we were in good hands. He listened carefully to our ideas and offered great suggestions, all while making sure we stayed within our budget.

Throughout the renovation, Humberto and his team were fantastic. They were always on time, professional, and respectful of our home. Since the work involved two floors, they took extra precautions to protect our space from dust and any potential damage. It was clear they cared about the quality of their work, and they consulted with us on important decisions to ensure everything was just right.

One thing that really impressed us was how smoothly the entire process went. Humberto made sure any concerns we had were addressed immediately, so we never felt stressed or worried about the project. ODM Construction also handled all the permits and inspections, which made things even easier for us.

While ODM Construction might not be the cheapest option out there, we felt that the quality of work and the peace of mind were well worth the investment. The entire team was skilled, friendly, and a pleasure to work with, which made a big difference since they were in our home every day until the project was finished.

One of the most important traits I look for in a contractor is trust. On numerous occasions, Humberto, owner of ODM Construction, lied to me, tried to collect money for services and materials not received, and provided poor quality craftsmanship and oversight (with workers caught sleeping on the job site on an almost daily basis). Also, after he abandoned the job because he didn't like my feedback, he removed my key from my home and initially refused to return it until I threatened to contact law enforcement. Humberto operates in a way that saves HIM time and money, not what's best for the homeowner. Warning: Based on my personal experience, do not trust this company.
Update: ODM is taking us to court because we refuse to remove our honest, and truthful reviews.
Photo descriptions: ODM claims the flooring is complete, while concrete is visible. Bathroom exhaust fans venting into attic. New gas line installed and ODM refusing to repair drywall where opened up in the garage. Level 5 drywall finish according to ODM. ODM driving a nail through HDMI cable while walls are wide open. Unfinished stucco repair at window and power panel upgrade. No sealant installed where ODM placed a new gas line at the exterior of house. Trash constantly pilled up and only removed when my wife and I complained numerous times, as well as the City of Thousand Oaks building inspector Ed McGee stating that my contractor has excessive amounts of trash on site.

We hired ODM Construction to completely remodel my master bathroom, update two other bathrooms, install barn-style closet doors, add floating shelves in my office, and put in pull-out drawer boxes in my kitchen. Their designer really helped me make sense of all the options, I loved how they found choices that were both beautiful and practical.

Humberto and Oscar aways kept the daily work moving forward on schedule. Anytime I had questions, they were quick to respond, which gave me peace of mind throughout the whole process.

Our kitchen renovation was a big project, involving tearing out the old kitchen, creating a bigger island, a full redesign, and upgrading our electrical panel.
The design was spot-on and very professional. What stood out to me was that the cost didn't go a penny over what we had agreed on, which is rare in my experience. Communication was excellent-every time we had a question or concern, Humberto and Oscar got back to us quickly, often within minutes.
