If I could give Design Build 10 stars, I absolutely would! As President of my HOA Board for the past four years, I’ve had the pleasure of working closely with Design Build on a $10 million rehabilitation project for our 45-year-old wood-sided townhome community. Their expertise and professionalism made all the difference in getting the project passed and completed successfully.

Dennis Brooks was instrumental in guiding us through the initial bidding process, educating our community, and helping us understand the necessity of this major rehab. Once the assessment passed, Brady Gamble stepped in as our project manager, and I cannot say enough about his dedication and effectiveness.

Brady worked tirelessly to keep all 217 homeowners informed and engaged throughout the construction process. He seamlessly liaised between Professional Services Construction, the Board, and our Management Company, ensuring everything ran smoothly. His patience, professionalism, and ability to handle even the most challenging situations were invaluable. Managing 217 homeowners, 47 buildings, fences, signage, lighting, siding, paint—you name it—Brady did it all with grace. He was on-site at least once a week and was always accessible to staff, homeowners, and the Board.

Because of our incredible experience, we have extended our contract with Design Build to oversee our upcoming roofing project. I cannot speak highly enough of Dennis, Brady, and the entire Design Build team! If you’re looking for a reliable, professional, and truly exceptional company, look no further!

John Weiler has been a huge help on the condo renovation project we have been working on! He has talked one-on-one with concerned Owners, attended Board meetings, and been available for all issues for this $1million project, including watching the budget. I'm not sure what they are doing while our building pays them every month. They came in with tech bro vests and a fancy presentation about a year ago. They told us there would be a follow-up meeting in a few months. They told us to contact them with any building issues.

No follow-up meeting ever happened and it turns out they bill you extra when you contact them.

I took a day off work for balcony inspections they scheduled and then cancelled without any prior notification.

They put up scaffolding and some cones with caution tape nearly a year ago, made some holes they covered with red tape at balcony drains, and have otherwise seemingly ceased to do anything or communicate with owners.

"Balcony inspections" is the only excuse I've heard for the delays and complete and unprofessional disregard for the timeline they presented to us in their "love bomb" of a presenation. I don't know any profession where this is acceptable.

Feels like we got duped and scammed.

We considered using Design Build a few years ago at our HOA, but ended up not because of our lack or reserves to take on the large scale project at the time. However, Dennis Brooks and his team were highly knowledgable and gave us an in-depth and informative presentation about how they could support us. With a large scale project, it's critical to have an unbiased party advising and managing in order to keep costs down and allow the project to run as smoothly as possible. I would highly recommend Dennis and his team to other HOAs or commercial buildings looking to take on a large project.

Unfortunately I am writing this review 1 year late. They were hired for a multimillion dollar renovation to our condominium complex and I continue to find low grade wood used and poor craftsmanship in construction. While none of us are contractors, we have a very good eye for evaluating work quality. This job was poorly done and if I could get my money back and hire a new agency I would.
