The Castle staff have been great during the transition from our previous Management Company. Lifestyle Director Mindy has been doing a wonderful Job with events, the Association Manager Alec has stepped up to insure that things are running good. Front Desk Agent Avonelle & Rosa are wonderful and so inviting when they greet you and assist with whatever you need. The on-site maintenance man Carlos has been working hard in address repairs and community needs. Most of all the online portal is fantastic where you can sign up for events and get updates on what’s happening. Overall they have been a great and needed addition to the community.

I recently visited the Red Tail HOA representative, who is with Castle Group, to inquire about the ongoing issues with our Envera gate system, which has been down with the gates wide open for weeks. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing.
Rather than providing a helpful or professional response, she immediately dismissed my concerns, stating that this was not a Red Tail issue and implying that I should have already known it was a “nationwide issue.” Her tone, body language, and overall demeanor came across as condescending and sarcastic, making the conversation unnecessarily uncomfortable.
Effective communication and professionalism are essential in an HOA leadership role, especially when addressing legitimate homeowner concerns. Unfortunately, her interpersonal skills were lacking, and I left the conversation feeling unheard and disrespected. I hope that Castle Group prioritizes better training in customer service and communication for its representatives in the future.

I live in a HOA community in Horizon West right outside of Disney. We have about 700 homes. 200 of the homes are cottage homes and the HOA provides all the landscape maintenance. I have lived here for about 7 years. I served on our HOA board before COVID right after turnover. We interviewed Castle back then, but ultimatly another company won the business. Castle came in 2nd.
Since I moved in before developer turnover, we have had 3 or 4 management companies. We have had at least 5 managers...so may I don't recall. Our current manager is Melissa Glen with Castle and she is a 10 out of 10. The best we have had so far, and it is not even close. Here is why:
(1) We have a ton of common space and for the first time in 7 years our common property looks good. Not perfect, but pretty good. A huge improvement. The same goes for the cottage homes. They look so much better. This is because Melisa drives around the community and makes sure the landscapers do their job.
(2) Melissa responds to requests same day, usually within 30 minutes, and always follows up to make sure the issue is resolved. She doesn't drop the ball...ever. Prior to Melissa, getting an initial response from management was a crap shoot. Getting a follow up was unheard of. Melissa is a Rock Star.
(3). I have had only a few personal interactions with Melissa, but she excudes customer service. She loves her job. We are out walking our dog one morning and she drives by in her golfcart and asks how things are going, I tell her a few tree near the lake need to be trimmed as you have to limbo to get under them by the sidewalk. That night we are out for our second walk and the trees are all cut. Who does this? She is a awesome.
My only issue with Castle is that we have not had an election in 4 years because we do not have electronic voting and can never get to quorum. Castle's client is the HOA, not the current HOA Board members. They need to help steer the ship (HOA) towards adopting on line voting and lowering the quorum so we can have annual elections. I would normally take 1 to 2 points away for this, but I give Melissa 6 stars so she saved Castle's butt.
If you hire Castle, you cannot have Melissa. I, and many others in our community will fight you for her....and some of us dont fight fair.

We love our condo association manager, Michael Fleshman. He has saved our resort a lot of money. He is extremely helpful, and always finds times to answer questions from the condo owners. I cannot say enough good things about him and hope we keep him!

I have been trying for 3 months now to get a refund from their association- since I sold my Condo and they kept withdrawing (for context, this is not the first time it happens) . I see this as last resource to see if I can have someone call me or reply to the emails in the open case.
UPDATE: 2 weeks after my review. Two new emails to email below and no response as of yet and when you call no matter the time you can never get through. Can you have someone call me?

The team of Melissa and Zach and Carl are the best. Every time we have had any issues or requests they have helped us very quickly. A strong hoa is great to have and with Melissa and Zach they handle these things kindly and thoughtfully.

Melissa Glenn & Zachary Adams are very responsive when we need assistance with anything in the community. If we ever encounter a “violation” they are very polite and help us with timelines and resources. We’ve been through a few companies and this one has been the best so far.
