A while back we needed a contractor do to a major house remodeling project. We met with Micky Maldini who introduced himself as the owner of OC Home Restoration. He told us several things that we later found out to be categorically false. 1. Micky said that he was a licensed general contractor 2. He said he had 40 years experience. 3. He also said that all his workers were with him for a very long time and that they also were licensed. The interview went well and given they had good reviews, we decided to hire OC Home restoration. A couple of weeks into the project and the problems started. It became obvious that our "contractor" Micky Maldini and his worker were "in over their heads". Simple things like doorways were framed wrong. Construction stages were done out of order. We failed several inspections in a row. Quality was generally poor. There was no foreman on site. Our "contractor" Micky very rarely showed up to check on things. He just showed up to collect money. When we asked him questions about construction issues even basic stuff he seemed ignorant and would always ask his workers. He stayed behind in his truck when the city inspectors or the structural engineer were on site. Things were not going well. We grew suspicious. Then our general "contractor" started "collecting ahead" of his milestones and started refusing to do the work that was included in our contract like painting the outside of the house and tried to give us a lower level of Stucco and a lower level of drywall than what we paid for. He was constantly trying to downgrade us, cut corners and also up charge us. OC Home made some major costly mistakes such as building our deck without proper framing to hold the heavy glass railing and installed our LaCatina style door upside down etc... It became so bad that we fired OC Home Restoration due to incompetence and consulted our attorney who did a license and background check on Micky Maldinid aka Miraslov Apostolovic. And that is when it all started to make sense! We found out that our contractor was not licensed and that the company was "borrowing" the license of another contractor named Ian Ireland so Micky could claim the license as his own. We also found out that most of his workers and even his electrician is not licensed. OMG! So you can understand our disappointment. We also found out Micky does not have 40 years in construction as let's just say... he was tied up elsewhere.... So please do your own research. It's public domain. If in doubt or before signing any contract please have an attorney review it and do an identity check, background check and license check on the "con"tractor.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Mickey and his crew at OC Home Restorations, and I have to say that it was a wonderful experience. Mickey had incredible attention to detail and was always responsive whenever I needed him. His crew was professional and efficient, and they really went above and beyond to ensure that I was completely satisfied with their work. Just completed a complete home renovation and I highly recommend OC Home Restoration! I got bids from 3 different contractors, one contractor took weeks to get me a bid and another contractor gave me a verbal bid without ever coming out to my house. Micky on the other hand came out to my house walked through with me listening to all my ideas and offering suggestions and had a written bid to me the next day! Being a single woman I was anxious about being taken advantage of but immediately felt comfortable with Micky. He was very patient with me and walked me through the entire process. The work I had done included 2 bathroom remodels, including reconfiguring the master bathroom, LVP flooring throughout, removing popcorn ceilings, replacing all interior doors and closet doors, updating both fireplaces and installing mantles, widening opening between family room and dining area, updating and installing lighting fixtures replacing baseboards throughout, updating all the electrical outlets and light switches and painting the entire interior. I also had work done on the exterior of the house which included replacing damaged siding, fascia and rafter tails, stucco repair, replacing the exterior family room door (which Micky gifted to me for Christmas! Seriously who does that?) , replaced all outdoor light fixtures, painted exterior and installed rain gutters. I feel like I have a brand new house!! I moved out door the renovation but my neighbors told me the workers were here every day working long hours and Micky kept me updated and always responded to my texts within minutes. This was a project I wanted to get completed before I retired and Micky and his team made my dream a reality!! Retirement here I come!!

I recently worked with Micky and his team for the first time on a built-in pergola removal. I have managed several construction projects for homeowners over the years and there is always an unforeseen issue or problem, but with Micky's team, there wasn't. It was such a relief! We ran into an issue with another tile company and had to switch contractors. Micky helped to get us into his schedule and get our floor done. Wish I would have known about them when we redid the bathrooms last year. This was by far the easiest construction project that I have ever experienced. They used drop cloths through My whole home and They left the space immaculate after work every day. I am thrilled with the finished product. Truthfully there is absolutely no need to look any further every one of his reviews is spot on. We've all heard contractor horror stories so save yourself the hassle and headaches go with OC home restoration.

OC Home Restoration is Micky Maldini, and he and his team built the bathroom of our dreams. We met with several contractors prior to choosing Micky and his team to remodel our master bathroom. This was our first large remodel and everything was new to us. No doubt that Micky’s personality helped us make our decision, and his passion for his work and commitment to the job sealed the deal.

Throughout the job Micky was continually in touch, always available for questions and help. Any issues were addressed right away. Micky and his crew were respectful of the current Covid issues and were a pleasure to work with. Micky does a great job of orchestrating the various trades to avoid overlapping and lag time – very efficient. It was clear that Micky is respected by his employees, working well with them while expecting quality work and detail. This resulted in no financial surprises throughout the job.

Micky was very comfortable to work with, checking on the site almost every day. At the beginning of the project, Micky sat down with us and told us his primary goal was to make us happy with our new bathroom. He genuinely cared about our needs and concerns. Primary goal was definitely achieved.

We love our amazing bathroom! We now have several ideas for future projects that we plan to use OC Home Restoration.

The quality of their work is most certainly above good. My remodeled bathroom is gorgeous and could be in a magazine. My new fireplace is the focal point in my living room and many people comment how lovely it looks. I can call Mickey for anything, even though he’s done with my project, and he always responds.
