I had Gerry and his crew do a bathroom remodel and hard wood floors nearly a year ago He is very nice at first meeting and on the phone. However, fast forward a year later. Come to find out the toilet was improperly installed and it leaked toilet water into my kitchen. The plumber showed me two short wax seal were used rather than one proper one and it was never bolted down. (A five dollar part). Now I have $1200 worth of drywall damage to my kitchen ceiling. The tile has a big grout gap and the radiant heat floor never worked. A piece of damaged bullnose for the stairs was thrown away so I couldn’t get it replaced by the flooring company. The job was done quickly before the holidays even though I said I would wait if they couldn’t finish on time. I never saw Gerry at my house again. In May 2018 the job was still not done. He asked for payment and I pointed out the stairs and radiant heat floor still needed addressing. He said he would look into it. I never heard from him. This week I called about the drywall. He left one message and has disappeared again. Think twice. My cousin’s house is on his website as an example of his work. Her house is beautiful, my bathroom falls extremely short even though his bid was slightly higher than another contractor.
