Alan and his crew are absolutely amazing. By the end of our septic adventure, we had Alan and three of his guys out here trying to solve the problem. We couldn't locate the tank. There was no clean out, one of the lids cracked... When we did find the tank unbelievably it was just 6 in away from a pod full of furniture in our driveway. They ended up having to dig 6 in away from the pod through dirt that might as well have been cement and Alan handles a backhoe like a knife with precision. These guys went above and beyond and spent the entire day here fixing our issue and we were able to even laugh and joke at the occasional moments of absurdity...the general compassion and consideration was amazing. If you ever find yourself in a situation like we did or even if you just need a simple clean out call these guys. They are awesome and are my go-to's moving forward. Thank you Alan, Little John, Leo (?) and John. Hope I didn't miss anybody. Hope I got the names right...DAVIS CONCRETE!..

On 10 August 2022, I contacted Davis Concrete regarding my septic. It has been 6 years since I bought my home and wanted to have the septic cleaned and serviced for routine maintenance. I chose Davis Concrete because they were the company that serviced the septic prior to me purchasing the home. Also, since I called after hours, I left a messege, and at 8am on the 11th I promptly received a call back.

The entire staff at Davis Concrete (that I personally had contact with), were extremely professional and accommodating. Within an hour and a half of the return call, they had dispatched a truck and personel to my home. After the septic was found and uncovered, their service technician ( Darius) suggested installing risers. Stating that installing risers would make future maintenance faster, cheaper, and more efficient.

I agreed with Darius' assessment. Also, since the septic was already uncovered, it would be better to add the risers now then wait. I then instructed Darius to contact their main office. After agreeing with the cost-quote given to me, within an hour their operations manager (Kevin) arrived with the risers and covers.

The whole process, from start to finish (including the addition of installing the risers and caps), took 3hrs to complete. There was minimal clean up needed. Also, during the process of finding the septic, I requested to skim 3 - 4 inches of sod off the top before digging down. I wanted to replace as much of the grass as possible after the job was complete. Darius made every effort to accommodate my request and in the end it worked out great.

I have a 1500 gallon septic. After locating the septic, clean out, maitanace, the cost of risers and caps + their installation, and after taxes + a $30 credit card fee; the total cost of everything was just under $906. Which was a lot cheaper than the 4 other companies I called for estimates to service the septic tank. Also, two of those companies said they would empty the septic using the washout. That there was no need to dig. Which is impossible to do (you cannot service or clean a septic tank without uncovering it and opening both sides).

I highly recommend Davis Concrete for all septic service and maintenance.

The only "negative" comments I have, are for the service truck itself. By no fault of Darius or Kevin's, the truck definitely needed maintenance. One of the hydraulic seals for the pump was leaking heavily on arrival.

I opened up a large cardboard box and placed it under the leak point. However, after the pump was used to empty my septic, oil (not hydrolic fluid) also began heavily leaking from behind the vacuum pump. Now, personally, I'm not worried about oil stains on my driveway. Even though there was a lot of oil in the end, the cardboard caught almost all of it. The little bit that did get on the driveway, Darius and Kevin pressure washed before leaving.

So, I still stand by my previous statement, and highly recommend Davis Concrete for any and all septic service and maintenance.

Called for servicing our home’s septic tank on short notice after some unexpected issues in our home. I was able to get on the phone with their office first thing in the morning and was able to get same day service. The pump truck and technician called ahead of the estimated arrival time and arrived right on time ready to go. Pumping and cleaning our tank took under an hour. Our technician was professional and courteous and was able to answer all my questions regarding our septic system. Highly recommended, and we plan on continuing to schedule future services with Davis!
